Rak is a character of Topmonhit's whose beginnings were much different from his current version. He seems to be a bit like the Pokemon version of Meta Knight, only more ruthless and possibly less honor. He isn't seen very often, and always seems to be traveling. He also never stays with one group of people for very long, and prefers to be alone.

Early Version
The early Rak was in fact named Cube instead, due to him being a Cubone. He was actually a scientist, because for some reason after Topper Topmonhit thought all his Pokemon island characters had to be scientists. Cube seemed to be a bit shifty, and like Rak, preferred to be alone. Hochocho ended up being bad, though, and didn't really go anywhere. This version of Cube disappeared and was later turned into Rak after being evolved; the name change came when Topmonhit realized Cube wasn't a very good name for a Marowak.
History
R is for Rocket
Rak's mother, like the mothers of all wild Cubone, died when he was born. It was not long after, however, that Rak was kidnapped by Team Rocket, who had began to spread their operation into Orre. Rak was not the only Pokemon captured, and the other Pokemon began to plan to try and get out. Rak did not help, preferring to be alone, but when the plan was successful, Rak escaped with the others.
Rak then followed a Vulpix a long distance until coming across a port at the edge of Orre, a hidden port where Pokemon lived like humans and could speak human. After some searching, he found a berry brought there from across the sea called a Polmo Berry, supposedly able to give Pokemon the ability to speak human. Rak tried it, and said "Yuck." Despite the foul taste, he had become able to speak human!
Training and Whatnot
Rak was unsure of what he should do next. He was alone; no family, no friends, no one he knew. All he really knew was that he didn't like Team Rocket, and was afraid. He went into hiding somewhere, and began to train, in case Team Rocket ever found him again. Through his training, he evolved, became less afraid, and more brave; more of a fighter. He got over not having any family or friends, and began to travel. His travels brought him south into Kanto.
Years passed as he traveled, although years had gone by during his training as well, and one day the planet began being attacked by strange, robotic Pokemon. Rak began to attack any that appeared to him, eventually finding that their base was located at Cerulean Cave. He headed there to stop them, only to come across others who were trying to stop them. Rak reluctantly agreed to work with them, and they entered Cerulean Cave to fight against the leaders of the invading robots. After they were defeated and planetary destruction was averted, Rak disappeared, off to travel more.
Personal Information
Personality
Rak's personality is essentially that of a warrior. He is ruthless in battle, but exactly how far he'll go is unknown. He's emotionally distant, preferring to keep to himself and not stay around the same people for too long. He's a loner through and through, and feels the most important thing is survival.
Appearance
Rak is a Marowak who wears a light blue skull over his head, as well as holds a light blue bone for a weapon.
Abilities
Rak is extremely skilled with his bone and is quick on his feet. He has the ability Rock Head, preventing him from taking recoil, and Lightningrod, making him able to direct electrical attacks to himself. He knows these attacks:
- Headbutt
- Bone Club
- Bonemerang
- Double Edge
- Iron Tail
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Counter
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Thief
- Iron Head
- Focus Blast
- Stone Edge
- Mega Punch
- Mega Kick
- Rock Slide
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Thunderpunch
Final Smash: Flaming Bonemerang
Rak sets his Bone on fire, throws it, and it flies around hitting foes. When it comes near him, he can use Counter to keep it going.
Items
Rak has only two items, his bone and the skull on his head. The skull has fused with his head, though, so it is less of an item than a part of him. The bone he carries around his his main weapon, which he uses skillfully. It is unknown where he obtained it, just as it is unknown where any other Marowak obtain their bones.
Interactions with Other Characters
Cyrus Vance
Rak was uneasy about Cyrus and his soldiers due to his only real interactions with humans was Team Rocket, but was willing to help (or, really, let them help him) against the invading robots.
Wepro
Rak found Wepro's constant pleas for peace to be nothing but annoying, and believes that peace could never be truly attained in the world.
Trivia
- Topmonhit considers Rak's sprite to be one of his early successes.
