The Jegan Mobile Suit Series is the Star World Defensive Force's main battle unit created for battle superiority. The Jegan proved to be a popular model among pilots, commanders, and commissars, as it was easy to operate and easy to maintain. The Jegan was one of the most heavily mass produced units found in the field during the 21st to 24th century and its design would serve as the basis for many future mobile suit models.

History

At the start of the new milenium, the Star World Defensive Force started to advance it's robotics technology so they can have edge against their enemies. One of projects is the Mobile Suit Project. After a few prototypes, the scientists developed the Jegan MK.I which is sucessful against opposing forces, mostly in space warfare. This all changes when the Metal Wars started, the MK.I is no match against Ork "Mekka Diaz", Vhozon Strike Vanishers and Wraithlords, Necron Destroyers, and Metal Army Giant Robos. They upgraded the MK.I to the MK.II so it can counter these new mobile suits. They are the major players of the Metal Wars, mostly well known in the invasion of Star World, the Fall of Mekkai, and the Battle of Manshire. After the Metal Wars, they also fought the Dark Perforation Army in the Second Invasion of Star World, fending off Dark Perforation Mechs and giant soldiers.

Design

The Jegan is mostly a standard mobile suit, all of it's stats are generalized so they have no glaring weaknesses nor strength except for it's variants. Not as powerful as Gemtrons but equal as the Yoshi Bodyguard's Tegan Y-Mechs except for a few customized units. The Jegan was also the first mass produced unit to incorporate the new 360 degree panoramic monitor with linear seat style cockpit. Its only major drawback, however, was the fact that its armor is vulnerable to mass quanities of Necron Guass. Because they are easy to create, they are often made over millions of units.
