DISCLAIMER or something we need one of those fancy box things: This article is about events that took place at Tick Tack Dude. Therefore, some information may be incorrect.
Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen! was the last Yoshi Bodyguards story Topmonhit did. It was, as the name suggests, Sneen's final story (more or less), and ended with his death.

Story
Prologue: A Heart of Ice
At Fahr Outpost, Sneen had been there for a little over half a year. The bob-ombs had gotten used to him, and almost began to accept him. However, on this particular day, a group of bob-ombs got just a little too close to Sneen's lab and exploded, causing chemicals in Sneen's lab to fall everywhere. One, a dark liquid, fell into Sneen's mouth, and he accidently swallowed some. Before he could actually worry about that, he realized two more chemicals were moving towards one another, and the result was explosive; the lab was destroyed, and Sneen had disappeared.
Chapter 1: When the Underwhere Freezes Over!
Meanwhile, at the YBs HQ, Top, Oshy and Topper had come to visit. While visiting, however, snow began to fall, even though it was June! Deciding it was just a freak weather accident, they enjoyed the cool-off of summer... until days passed and things became colder and colder all across the planet. Eventually, Star World called for a meeting to discuss the recent weather imbalance, and although the YBs were invited, they never made it. A massive cannon somehow appeared in front of the YB HQ and it fired, destroying the HQ and killing everyone inside.
The YB awoke at the Underwhere, which was now colder and somewhat icy, and Oshy saw his dead father, Duller! He was choked up, but others were worried that they were dead. Some thought it was just a mistake and they went to find Jaydes, but instead found Dark Sneen, Sneen's dark side! Dark Sneen told them that an explosion killed him, but not right before splitting with his light side. He then told them he had business in the Overthere, and sent Dark Piranha, a massive, dark piranha plant the YBs had defeated two years earlier to attack them. Dark Sneen ran off, but Dark Piranha was defeated and the YB began to chase Dark Sneen.
Between the two chapters, it showed Light Sneen, Luvbi and Jadyes were inside cages and Dark Sneen was speaking with them. Light Sneen was in a fetal position, not speaking, while the other two were their usual selves. There was then a dialogue introducing two unnamed characters later revealed to be Sneen and Leila.
Chapter 2: On the Road to the Overthere City
The YB made their way down Underwhere Road, and saw a group of D-Men holding back a door, stating there was a monster or something in there. When the YB checked it out, they saw that Mysterio, one of Sneezier's villains, was inside. He went with them for some reason, but didn't help.
Later they met The Three Hags, Hagra, Hagitha, and Hagnes. They explained to the YBs what had happened--when Dark and Light Sneen came to the Underwhere, only Light Sneen appeared in the usual location; Dark Sneen was able to end up elsewhere due to Light Sneen filling in. Dark Sneen just so happened to land where the Dark Prognosticus fell when Dimentio was defeated back in Super Paper Mario, and Dark Sneen was able to use it to create the Frozen Heart, which he was able to use to take over the Underwhere and freeze it over.
According to them, the Underwhere is somehow connected with Star World's core, which is why Star World is now freezing over; if it continued, Star World would become too cold for life and all life would die, sending them to the Underwhere, which Dark Sneen now ruled! It was obvious the YB had to stop him as soon as they could, so they went off back on the Underwhere Road.
Although the Dorguys kept getting in the way, they were able to get through each, then defeat the Underchomp. However, just then, Dimentio appeared! He said he was now helping Dark Sneen in his plan in exchange for being given the gift of life once more, and he was also given some limited abilities back. He used these to increase the Underchomp's power and let the YB fight the new and improved Underchomp. They still won, though, and continued on to Overthere Stair.
Between chapters, Luvbi began to speak with Light Sneen, who was mostly unresponsive. She could tell Light Sneen had some pain, and said that because she was a pure heart (or something like that) she could see into his heart, and began to do so. In the dialogue, the two characters spoke worriedly of a group known as Cipher.
Chapter 3: An Apple a Week for the Crazy Freak
When the YB arrived at Overthere Stair, they began to climb up the clouds; Pichup used his jetpack to go ahead. Eventually, Dimentio appeared and prepared to battle them using apples. Despite his apple power, he was defeated, and the YB continued on to the Overthere.
Between chapters, Luvbi finished looking into Sneen's heart, rather appalled at it, and asked Jaydes how the underworld actually works, but Jadyes said that was more of Grambi's section of things. The dialogue involved the two characters being attacked and one of them dying, the other one being knocked unconscious.
Chapter 4: The Terror of the Koopa
When the YB arrived at the Overthere, to their surprise, a lot of it wasn't cold--instead, a lot of it was burnt! They helped some of the nimbis there, and learned that there was a monster in the shrine, and the orbs had been taken away. Thus, the YB probably floated over to the shrine or something, and when they arrived, there was no Dark Sneen and no Grambi; instead, there was Morton Koopa Sr.! He no longer looked as dark and undead as before, and was now much weaker, allowing the YB to defeat him normally. Unfortunately, although he was defeated, they were now at a dead end.
Between chapters, it showed that Grambi was now in the cages with the other three, and Dark Sneen told them his plan was nearing fruition. The dialogue was about one of the characters (Sneen) going through the torture of being shadowified.
Chapter 5: 40 Miles on the River Twygz
The YB returned to the Underwhere to look for clues and found from Charold that his boat was suddenly attacked. The YB went down into the River Twygz and randomly found Doopliss (the only reason for his appearing was to make ChibiKirbyNess RP more). Then, a Dark Ultra Blooper, a blooper the YB had fought two years prior during the Morton Koopa Sr. events, appeared and attacked them. They were eventually able to defeat it, though, but Charold's boat was destroyed. When they came back up, though, they saw that Charold had gotten a new one, and allowed them to sail down the River Twygz to find Dark Sneen.
Between chapters, Grambi explained how the underworld works--each planet has a different underworld, and dying on that planet will send you to that planet's underworld, meaning Leila would be in the Pokeworld's underworld. The dialogue involved the ending of Pokemon Colloseum, in which Sneen saw Ho-Oh in the sky and rebelled against Cipher.
Chapter 6: The Chilling Realization
As the YB sailed down the River Twygz, they realized it had been a while since they had slept so they went below-decks while sailing; when they came back up, however, they saw the entire river had been frozen from the lowering temperatures! The YB began to hurry down the River Twygz on foot, but were inerrupted by the Skellobit Army, there to prevent them from going any further. The YB battled them, then fought against Bonechill, who continued to fight even after his cannon was destroyed, but was defeated in the end and the YB was able to continue.
Between chapters, it merely showed how the room the cages were in was getting colder and colder, further showing how cold the Underwhere was getting. The dialogue was of how Sneen had mistaken Belle for Leila on Polomo.
Chapter 7: A Monster of a Problem
The YB left the River Twygz and found a large, dark forest of dead trees. They made their way through and was helped by a forest creature who later turned out to be Kolorado's father. After they made it out of the forest, they encountered Plasmoc, another of Sneezier's villains, who began to fight them. Although he was defeated, it wasn't too much longer after that they encountered Dimentio again, who said he was almost out of this place, and brought forth a monster to attack the YB--King Ghidorah! The YB fought hard, but it was ridiculously tought to the point that The Cloud just defeated it itself.
Between chapters, Dark Sneen told Light Sneen, Jaydes, Grambi and Luvbi that his plan was almost done. The dialogue was about how Sneen came to realize he was foolish to believe Leila was still alive and possibly had just had amnesia, which he realized when learning Belle was marrying a Kecleon named Zoomer. He then decicdied to leave the island.
Chapter 8: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told in the Last 5 Minutes
Time was beginning to run out for the YB at this point, and they finally encountered Dark Sneen again. Dark Sneen, however, pulled out the Frozen Heart and Project S, and then, using the Frozen Heart to power Project S, proceeded to pummel the YB to pieces. Unfortunately for him, as the battle began to drag out, he fell to the ground, all his energy sapped--they learned the Frozen Heart was a fake one, and that Dimentio must have switched them before he left back to the realm of the living!
Some YBs demanded they go find him, but it was too late, he was long-gone by now. They hurried into the cave that Light Sneen was in, only to find him dying--but he thanked the YB. Thanked them for giving him the strength to continue, and that he was going to soon be reunited with his loved one. His body then disappeared. The YBs were sad, sans Chibi and Sub--Sub was quiet about it, but Chibi was a total jerk. Either way, with the Frozen Heart gone, everything turned back to normal, and the YB returned to Star World... only to find their HQ was still destroyed. But they quickly went to repairing it, and the story ended...
There was then two more dialogues left, one of Sneen obtaining a Crystal Star in the Shadow Dimension, and one of Sneen seeing the Shadow Creatures cheering that the Shadow King was defeated, and he then realized what he had been doing was foolish and that he should be helping people, which moved him to join the YB.
Epilogue: The Story of Sneen
The epilogue was simply a telling of the events of Sneen's life, which can be seen in his article.
The final scene of the story showed a snow-covered land, with two sillhouettes of Sneasels sitting near one another, watching the sunset...
Trivia
- The reason this was made into a Yoshi Bodyguards Story was due to the number of references to previous YB stories.
- Originally there was to be an intro song based off The Land of the Dead by Voltaire in Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure, but Topmonhit forgot to post it. In fact, "The Land of the Dead" was the placeholder name for the story in his story list.
Connections to Other Stories
- This would end up not being Sneen's final story, as he would make an appearance in Chapter 8 of Pokemon Platinum 3: Time, Space & Darkness when the heroes ended up in the dimension of the ice underworld Sneen went to. He would remain there, however, making that his true final story.
- Most of Sneezier's villains reappear in this story as bosses. Mysterio is fought first and joined the heroes but offers no help since he doesn't care, he wanted only to see his foes suffer. Plasmoc appears, still lusting for controlling the Snifin Twins.
- Although Topmonhit has stated he has plans for Dimentio, Dimentio has not yet reappeared in a story as of now.
- Morton Koopa Sr. was a villain fought in various YB stories as an undead villain, but when he was sent to the Underwhere, his power greatly decreased.
- The Dark Piranha and Dark Ultra Blooper were creatures mutated by Morton Koopa Sr.'s dark, undead mist.
- Dark Top reads a newspaper article about this story in The Top Plot for Takeover. That story also features the return of Dimentio.
