Dark Danny is Danny's first major staple villains, yet one villain gone anti hero has come before him. He is considered to be pure evil, even though his plans usually end up in him being destroyed.

Bio
Dark Danny, a dark clone of Danny created by Team Rocket, is pure evil. At first he only used shadow typed attacks, until he was mutated by Phazon, and then he used a mixture of both of these attacks along with regular Pokémon attacks.
History
Pokéworld Peril
In the beginning of this story, a random Beldum in a ship suddenly bursted into YBHQ and ripped off part of Danny's fur, which was quickly taken back to the Pokéworld and cloned by Team Rocket to create Dark Danny, aka XD002. The YB first met Dark Danny deep in Mt. Moon, where Team Rocket cloned him. They were planning on making an army of Dark Dannys, but some problems came up and they fled the base. Dark Danny managed to burst out of his holding cell and attacked the YB, but eventually ended up deafeated and fled. They met him again deep in Mt. Chimney where they fought again and he lost haha. Finally, in the final showdown, he was once again defeated and fled through a portal while dropping various items.
Pokéworld Peril 2: Darkness
Yoshi (and Peach) were kidnapped AGAIN by Dark Danny and the YB went to the Pokéworld where Danny got somesort of magical sword thingy to fight Dark Danny with but Dark Danny managed to kidnap Danny and force him to absorb the Shadow Orb, which changed Danny's appearance to what it is today. Danny, with the help of the YB cheering him on, managed to gain control over the Orbs power and defeat Dark Danny. His dark particles, however, floated into space and clung to a Phazon meteor, and a little Pikachu hand came out of it...
Phazon Crisis
Soon after Dark Danny's reformation, the planet of Phaaze was destroyed along with the previous master of Phazon, Dark Samus. This left Dark Danny with absolute control of all remaining Phazon-based substances, but there was little left and it was dying fast. He used what Phazon was left in the seed he had originally clung to and crashed it on the planet Chronis in order to absorb the power of the different factions fighting there. The remaining Phazon had evolved into an advanced breed of the substance named the Hades Strain. He landed in the city of Or'Es'Kha and set about absorbing the population. Dark Danny stayed for a good portion of the war, but the SWDF and Freaten forces attacked his Leviathan Seed using reverse engineered Necron technology to destroy the Hades Strain. Dark Danny intervened and attacked the group, but was beaten back by the Necron technology. He merged with a Freox Monster corpse nearby, but was defeated again. With his seed destroyed, Dark Danny was forced to retreat.
Pokéworld Peril 3: Not Dark Danny's Fault
Metal Danny (appeared in The Adventure of Wishes) kidnaps Yoshi and the YBs are once again forced to come to the Pokéworld to rescue him. After a series of events, Metal Danny is defeated, but before he exploded, he releases Dark Danny, whom he captured inbetween the events of PP2 and 3, and he now has the power of Phazon in his system. He plays the Azure Flute which summons a portal to Arceus's dimension and he possesses Arceus and eventually after a long battle he's forced out of Arceus's body, and manages to grab a Smash Ball. Right before he uses his Final Smash, Danny jumped into action with his beam sword and knocks the Smash Ball out of Dark Danny and takes it himself. He peforms his unnamed secondary Final Smash and slashes Dark Danny in two with his beam sword, and Dark Danny explodes. Yoshi is saved and blahblahblah you get the rest.

Being Danny's evil clone, Dark Danny hates the real Danny with a fiery passion. His plans always include destroying Danny one way or another and taking over the universe.
Metal Danny
- Main Article: Metal Danny
Even after being resurrected, Dark Danny doesn't like Metal Danny very much. However, due to Dark Danny being corrupted by Phazon, he was fairly weak without Metal Danny's help, so he decided to let him put him in stasis for recovery.
Trivia
- Dark Danny is, obviously, based off of Dark Samus from the Metroid Prime series.
- Since Dark Danny was cloned before Danny got his recent look, he lacks Danny's markings. However, his most recent look has them, but they're blue, meaning he has Phazon within him. But how did he get them? STAY TUNED!
