Hev, formerly a Ta-Matoran, is a female Toa of Fire. She is the younger "sister" of Dlakii.

History
As a Matoran
Hev, like Dlakii, was imprisoned on Destral and forced into slavery. She had no special job, merely doing what Chya ordered on any given day. On one such occasion, the Matoran were forced to work in the protodermis mines. Hev's impatience got the better of her, and she chose to do all the mining herself. Though she cut through a large amount of the rock, she unintentionally brought the canyon down on herself, being rescued at the last second by Toa Iruini and Toa Gaaki. It was this act which led to their discovery of the Brotherhood of Makuta's treachery, witnessing Chya threatening to disembowel a Matoran.
Judging from a flashback seen in The Unknown Turaga II: Land of Dragons, Hev and Lai accompanied Dlakii, Harkha, Enira and Duvek on their journeys.
Some time afterwards, Hev became a Toa.

Equipment
Whether or not Hev used any weapons or tools (other than the standard-issue Brotherhood of Makuta pickaxe) is unknown.
As a Toa, Hev used a Flare Blade, a large and heavy sword used to channel her fire powers. She wore a Kanohi Miru, Mask of Levitation, shaped like its Kanohi Nuva form.
Powers and Traits
Being a Toa of Fire, Hev can control fire. She, however, prefers to use it solely through her Flare Blade, often coating it in flames before leaping in to attack.
Hev is a renowned athlete, and is capable of running faster than a Kane-Ra. She also possesses surprising physical strength.
Personality
Hev is prone to severe mood swings and a burning temper to rival that of Dlakii. She is often calm and friendly one minute, but is known to change tack very quickly and begin to threaten. However, in her better moods, she is known to be a rather humourous being.
Character origin
Hev is directly based on the younger sister of Turaga Dlakii, who also chose the character's mask and colour scheme herself.
Trivia
- During their time on Destral, Hev was the sole caretaker of Lai.
