Many thanks to all the members who gave their written and verbal support throughout the planning process. Although we are 3 months behind the target date for obtainig permission (due to waiting for Esher LTC`s appeal) our stategy worked perfectly. The first application for 4 courts was presented to the council knowing that it would be refused but that we could appeal. We also knew that the appeal would be unsuccessful but if a strong case was put to the Planning Inspector then her report might pave the way for a new application for 2/3 courts. Her report was exactly as planned and virtualy guarranteed us success. Funding is the next problem.
