Early Works

The first of Nanaki's work appeared on his deviantART page. His first submission was known as Railroad Relationships, a story mainly focusing on Harvey the Crane Engine escaping scrap and falling in love with Emily. However, Nanaki never completed the story, stopping after Chapter 3. The story has since been completely scrapped.

Nanaki also wrote the winning Essay entry for the SiF/RLT Competiton. The essay, What Does Thomas Mean to You?, is a personal essay focused on Nanaki's personal life and his feelings for the then current status of the television series.

Whatever Happened to Smudger?

Nanaki's most influential fanfiction was first written in 2005, where he came up with the idea that Smudger, a character appearing briefly in Season 4 of Thomas and Friends, might not have simply been broken up after becoming a generator. The story of Whatever Happened to Smudger? (or WHTS for short) focuses on Smudger's life after leaving the Island of Sodor and beginning his new life on the Hasegawa Valley Railway.

This was Nanaki's first really successful story, spanning 12 chapters and starting a spinoff series called Tales from Hasegawa Valley (or TfHV). An Audio Production was also planned with Assassin playing the lead role of Smudger; however Nanaki's father wiped the hard drive and all of the Audio data was lost.

Nanaki also asked SenatorTrainFreak, a member of deviantArt, to do the official illustrations for the series. To date, there are currently 4 illustations.

Legacy

In August 2009, Nanaki decided to completely rewrite the stories in a Railway Series format, in order to expand on realism of the stories and give a better explanation for the existence of Smudger's new home. The first book, Smudger the Free Engine, can be found both on SiF and deviantART.

Code Blue

More recently, he submitted a new fanfiction to SiF known as Jack and the Pack: Code Blue, focusing on the Pack characters facing off against a rival construction company known as Code Blue Construction Co. Nanaki will not release Code Blue outside SiF until it is complete, making Code Blue an SiF Exclusive.

The logo on the left was created as a concept idea by fellow member 01Salty.

Current Works

Nanaki plans on continuing TfHV, but first wants to get his other ideas out into the open. Sometime while writing the first few chapters of TfHV, Nanaki wrote and submitted Feelings, a short fiction taking place during Calling All Engines. The fiction mainly focused on Emily's feelings for Thomas.

Music Videos

Nanaki has currently produced two Thomas and Friends music videos, and worked on several others that were never completed.

Sore Ga, Ai Deshou (I Guess That's Love)

This was the first music video Nanaki distributed to the public. The song was the main theme track to the anime Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. He started in September 2005 and finished two months later.

He promptly submitted it as his first video on YouTube, where it became successful until he was banned. It has since been reuploaded.

I'm Super!

Nanaki's second public release, this music video used clips from Alec Baldwin's appearence on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where Conan suggested that Alec made James the Red Engine gay. The music video features James singing "I'm Super" from the South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut soundtrack (sung by Big Gay Al). It has since been reuploaded.

Unreleased Music Videos

Nanaki has made several other music videos, none seen by the general public. His first music video he completed (before Sore Ga Ai Deshou) was a remix of Mark Joseph's "Moody Blues" and using low-quality footage. Nanaki ended up deleted it, claiming it was "awful rubbish".

After Nanaki's trip to New York in 2006, he planned to release a third music video dedicated to the Troublesome Trucks with the song "In Too Deep". However, all that was left of it was deleted when his father wiped the drive.

Artwork

Nanaki is not usually described as an artist, but has done some works in Microsoft Flash, as well as made some S-I-F! Trading Cards (Yu-Gi-Oh!-styled SiF trading cards):

Nanaki in SiFiction

Nanaki first appeared in SiFiction in Alaric's Rogue, the first story of the R Trilogy, being one of the members Alaric threatened to join him in his attack on the SiF Tower. Nanaki, as well as the rest of the members Alaric forced to join him (not including Elizabeth) attacked Alaric from behind to get a detonator from his hand. In the whole SiFiction, Nanaki has only one line: "Knock it from his hand!"

Nanaki afterwards made an appearence in The Salmon Adventure as a member of Group Unheard-of, along with LegoGuy, Inuprincess, and Philthevaliant. The four held a contest for a "Heard of Unheard-of" to join their group, only to become less popular, then a quote from Nanaki making them instantly win a motorboat. (It should be noted that Nanaki does NOT use the silly phrases used in The Salmon Adventure, except for "bugger all"). He later appears at Stepneydude's funeral dance, where he attempts to immitate Darthboco's breakdance and fails, breaking one of his legs. He says "Oh snap!" and tries to explain why he said it, but ends with "...I got nothing."

Nanaki also appeared in Philthevaliant's The SiF-gic Roundabout, however was mistaken to be a girl in the first chapter. He is seen at the concert standing by a bandstand. After the concert, Nanaki heads for the SiF-gic roundabout and asking for somebody to join, just before Chris appears and his bike crashes into the roundabout. The roundabout begins running haywire, taking Nanaki with it. Metal Philip bursts from the machine, causing day to turn into night and the Roundabout freezing solid, encasing Nanaki in ice.
