Alaric's origins are unknown. There are those that say he is the Cybertronian Green Lantern, but far more likely he is just a stupid boy from Stockton. That's Stockton-on-Tees, UK by the way. Don't mistake it for Stockton in California. No one has ever done this yet, but there's a first time for everything.

It is the consideration of a few that this Alaric fellow is rather funny. His work has been described as being "in a fine line between Monty Python and The Goodies", which is pretty damn flattering. It is true that he has written a fair number of stories in the Parodies thread, as well as the humorous Independant Work Nerds, and that J. Alaric Productions specialises in comedic redubs and audio productions. However, he has also shown he has a serious side in the SiFiction story known as Rogue.

Is notoriously bad with deadlines.

All Alaric really wants in life is to entertain others. Whether he ever succeeds in doing so is up to you to judge. Oh yeah, he's also responsible for this wiki, so watch what you say about him.

Recently got married to Chris Burrell. An anullment seems likely at some point.

Voices

Alaric would appreciate it if you read everything he says in the voice of Batman. But not just one Batman. If he's saying something funny, you should imagine Adam West saying it. If it's serious, then Kevin Conroy's your (Bat)man. If it sounds cool, then it's Michael Keaton. And if it's angry, then go ahead and pretend Christian Bale's saying it.

Real life

In real life, Alaric is Ross Martyn Hayes, mild mannered student with a heart of gold. It's a good thing the internet is anonymous, or else he wouldn't say half the amount of things he does. Ross is currently single, but his low self-esteem will get him through. That and Don Rosa's The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. You should read it. It's good.
