Right. I mean, I realize that it can be painful (in that we're going to have to go over the entire film, over & over) but if we've got audio from the scene, I think we'll be okay. Because you can hear how you read your lines at the time, you know? So it won't be that hard to mimic. And if it's good enough we won't have to redub everything.

Welcome to the wiki for the work-in-progress Rom Com (a marginally elaborate romantic comedy).

Feel free to explore and work on the characters, overall plot, list of scenes, soundtrack, or shooting schedule.

All the notes etc were moved to the talk page.

Also, let's talk about Kati violin scene.

Yes?

Hold on....

iMovie does not allow me to continue audio from one shot into a subsequent scene. which means we can't film her playing and have that continue over shots of you me etc. SO. Alternative. I set up a recording device (discreetly hidden in a flowerpot ((which pays homage to early, primitive talkies, in which directors disguised microphones using potted plants, extravagent dresses, etc.))) and we play that track, coordinated of course with filmed Kati, throughout the intro. Of course, if we're redubbing the entire thing, it should not be a problem. Or it will be a problem, but no more tedious than the rest of the re-dubbing, which can be a painful process.
