Broken Bodies (2018) is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced by World Incorporated Wrestling for their Rage and ShowDown brands. It will take place on July 15, 2018, at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Montana. It wil be the ninth event in the Broken Bodies chronology.

[edit] Storylines

The card will comprise matches resulting from scripted storylines, with results predetermined by WIW on the Rage and ShowDown brands. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Thursday Night ShowDown.

At Money in the Bank, Kevin Hunter retained the WIW Heavyweight Championship by defeating defeated Corbin Edwards in a Last Man Standing Cage match. A gauntlet match was scheduled for the June 21 edition of ShowDown, with the participants being Mark Semmler, Jeffrey Mahana, Eric Horne, Jeremy Calvert, Dustin Simpson and Marc Beltran where the winner would face Hunter for the title at Broken Rules, which Mahana won by last eliminating Semmler by performing The Mahana. After the match, Hunter came out to congradulate Mahana.

On July 1 via WIW's facebook, it was announced that the current WIW World Champion Tyler Mane that he would be at Broken Bodies to defend the WIW World Championship. On the July 4 episode of Rage, Eric Stevens was named number one contender, however later that night Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin McAlmond defeated Stevens to remain Mr. Money in the Bank, Rage General Manager Rex Martin announced that McALmond would be added to the title match, thus making it a triple threat match at Broken Bodies.

At Money in the Bank, Brenah McAlmond-Quinn won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match after shoving Victoria Lehr from the ladder and rechiving the briefcase. Later in the night, Lehr got involved in the Triple threat match for the WIW World Women's Championship between Sarah Grobel, Samantha Clakley and Mckenzie Wofford attacking all three women, McAlmond-Quinn came out to attack Lehr, but Lehr retreated. McAlmond-Quinn attempted to cash in but was attacked by Lehr and Tessa Smith until Grobel made the save, causing Lehr and Smith to retreat again. McAlmond-Quinn and Grobel than had an intense staredown. On June 19, it was announced that Grobel would defend the WIW Women's Championship against McAlmond-Quinn at Broken Bodies. However, on the June 20, 2018 episode of Rage, McAlmond-Quinn successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to win the WIW World Women's Championship for the second time, making McAlmond-Quinn the defending champion against Grobel.

On the June 6 episode of Rage, Evolved Revolution (Ryan Gleason and Brian Tobol) won a tag team battle royal to earn the right to face Ryan Barnhart and James Burdick for the WIW World Tag Team Championship by last eliminating Cam Dana and Craig Dalton. On the June 13 episode of Rage, Wright of Storm (Scott Wright and Harlan Storm) defeated Ryan Gleason and Brian Tobol with the stiulation that if Wright of Storm won they'd be added to the title match tag team title match. On the June 27 episode of Raw, Gleason defeated Burdick and Dana. A triple threat tag team match for the titles was scheduled for Broken Bodies.

At Money in the Bank, Kadee Jones retained the WIW Heavyweight Women's Championship by defeating Emily Taflan with the help of from a masked man. On the following episode of ShowDown, Jones attacked Taflan with a Jones Kick. On the June 28 episode of ShowDown, ShowDown Women's General Manager Stephanie Thennis scheduled a rematch between Jones and Taflan for the title at Broken Bodies.

April 2018, The PWC made there return as a team attacking the Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Bloodbath Brothers (Reintjes and Truax). Prior to the gauntlet match to determine Kevin Hunter's opponent for Broken Bodies, Dustin Simpson had a stare down with the Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Bloodbath Brothers (Reintjes and Truax). After Simpson defeated Beltran and Horne, the Bloodbath Brothers attacked Simpson, which allowed Calvert to attack and defeat Simpson. On the June 28 episode of ShowDown, Jesse Dern returned and saved Simpson from a post-match assault from The Bloodbath Brothers, officially reuniting Team Hell Assassins. Stephanie Thennis then scheduled Team Hell Assassins and The PWC to face The Bloodbath Brothers in a triple threat match for the titles at Broken Bodies.

On the July 11 episode of Rage, General Manager Rex Martin announced Schmalzried Worldwide (Mikhail Schmalzried and Aaron Schmalzried) will face The Varsity Club (Mike Bartlett and Ryan Wilson) with the winning team becoming number one contenders and getting their shot on the following Wednesday's Rage.
