Chaos Theory (2018) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced by World Incorporated Wrestling for their Rage and SmackDown brands. It will take place on May 6, 2018, at the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell, Montana. It wil be the second event in the Chaos Theory chronology.

[edit] Storylines

The card will featured matches that resulted from scripted storylines and had results predetermined by World Incorporated Wrestling on the Rage and ShowDown brands. Storylines were produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and ShowDown.

At SuperBrawl X, the match between WIW World Champion Tyler Mane and Kevin McAlmond ended in no-contest, when Eric Stevens and his Evolved Revolution faction interfereed and attack both men. It was then announced that the two would have a rematch at the Greatest World War in a Charming State Prison match. On Rage, McAlmond addressed his match against Lesnar and the outcome of his match at SuperBrawl. He was interrupted by Dustin Simpson, Simpson said that if McAlmond gets through Mane and wins the title, Simpson would be waiting for McAlmond at Chaos Theory. Eric Stevens and Evolved Revolution then interrupted McAlmond and Simpson, they talked about screwing McAlmond out of the title at SuperBrawl X and blamed McAlmond for him losing the International Championship match at SuperBrawl X and said that after McAlmond fails to beat Mane at Greatest World War again and he finally becomes International Championship by winning the Ladder match at Greatest World War, Stevens would be waiting for McAlmond, willing to defend the title against McAlmond at Chaos Theory. Stevens then lead Evolved Revolution down to the ring to attack McAlmond again, but Matt Borske came out through the crowd causing Evolved Revolution to retreat. Borske told Stevens that if it wasn't for Stevens and his girlfriend, Victoria Lehr's hatred towards McAlmond and sticking their noses where they never belong, McAlmond would be WIW World Champion again, he told McAlmond that he believed that McAlmond would become WIW World Champion again at Greatest World War and challenged McAlmond to a match for the title at Chaos Theory. Later that night, Rex Martin made it clear one of the three men or possibly all three will face McAlmond at Chaos Theory. May 1 via WIW's social media account, Rex Martin announced that Borske, Stevens and Simpson would face each other on Rage. On the May 2 episode of Rage, Stevens defeated Borske and Simpson with help from Jason Downing and Jacob George. However, after the match, they continued to attack Simpson and Borske only for McAlmond, who was on commentatary for the match chance the three out. Later that night, Rex Martin would confront Stevens and infrom him that since he used Downing and George to help him win, he would not face McAlmond in a singles match instead, McAlmond would team with Borske and Simpson to face Stevens, Downing and George in a Non-sanctioned six man tag team match, that Rex Martin dubbed the "Chaos Theory steet fight" at Chaos Theory.

At SuperBrawl X, Michael Fonger defeated Kooper McAlmond, Matt Borske and Eric Stevens in a fatal four-way match to capture the International Championship. The following Wednesday onRage, McAlmond declared his rematch clause for the International Championship. Prior to their one-on-one match the two will also compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble in a five-way Ladder match for the championship, with Gomez, Stevens and Simpson.

At SuperBrawl X, Sarah Grobel defeated Brenah McAlmond-Quinn to win the WIW World Women's Championship. On April 25, a rematch for the championship was scheduled for Chaos Theory.

On the April 12 episode of ShowDown, Avery Gold, who had just retained the WIW Heavyweight Women's Championship against Emily Taflan at SuperBrawl X, was challenged to another title match by Kailla Matteson, which Gold accepted. During the impromptu title match, Kadee Jones cashed in her Money in the Bank contract thus making the match a triple threat match, she went on to pin Matteson to win the championship. On April 25, a rematch was scheduled for Chaos Theory.

On April 21, 2018 it was announced that the OSU Cowgirls (Samantha Clakley and Logan Simunek) would be making there debut on the Rage brand. On the April 25 episode of Rage, during interview's with Brittany Hiatt and Victoria Lehr expressed their anger towards WIW about how they keep bringing in other women over them and challenged the OSU Cowgirls to a tag team match at Chaos Theory, while also telling them that they would send them back to OSU. Later that night, Rage General Manager Rex Martin made the match offical.

At SuperBrawl X, Craig Sandvig defeated Brent Huntley, Jordan Keltz and Andy Haegele in a fatal four-way match to win the United Nations Championship. On the following episode of ShowDown, Huntley defeated Keltz and Haegele in triple threat match to face Sandvig for the title at Chaos Theory. However, on the April 18 edition of Sandvig was was drafted to Rage during the Superstar Shake-up draft and lost the title to Devin Sullivan, causing Mahal to invoke his rematch clause at the Greatest World War. Sullivan was then traded to ShowDown the next night, where Brent Huntley was about to face Jeremiah Lawrence, Sullivan interrupted his entrance and took the match instead. The following week, Sullivan was set to face Lawrence, but Huntley this time interrupted Sullivan and took the match. Sullivan would retain his championship at Greatest World War against Sandvig, making Sullivan the defending champion against Huntley at Chaos Theory.

[edit] Pre-show

During the pre-show, Kelli Kerpa took on Leah. Kerpa tried to use the ropes to score the pinfall on Leah, but Jessica Rothe and Dianna Agron got the referees attention. After arguing with Rothe and Agron, Leah performed the Leah Kick on Kerpa for the win.

[edit] Preliminary matches

The actual pay-per-view opened with Michael Fonger defending the International Championship against Kooper McAlmond. During the match, McAlmond landed wrong on his knee and Fonger continued to target Koopers knees, locking in the figure-four leglock multiple times. Fonger performed one of his finshers the Fonger Finale on Kooper for a nearfall. In the climax, Kooper performed a Kooper Kennel Curb Stomp on Fonger, but Fonger rolled out of the ring as Kooper soon followed, Fonger would push Kooper face first into the ringpost, grab the title from the timekeeper and leave through the crowd, Kooper made it back into the ring before the ten count and was announced as the winner of the match, but due to the countout, Fonger retained the title.

Next, Sarah Grobel defended the World Women's Championship against Brenah McAlmond-Quinn. In the end, McAlmond-Quinn performed a [[Roundhouse Kick|Brenah Kick on Grobel, but before Brenah could make the cover, Vicoria Lehr and Brittany Hiatt came out and attacked both Grobel and McAlmond-Quinn, WIW officials came out and escorted Lehr Hiatt out and the referee of the match tried to ask both women if they wanted to continue, but neither would respond and the referee called for the bell, thus ending the match with no winner and Grobel would retain the title.

After that, Devin Sullivan defend the United Nations Championship against Brent Huntley. After Orton missed a Hunt Cutter, Sullivan delivered a Twisted Sullivan followed by a Frog slash to retain the championship.

Later, a segment occurred with the debuting Aaron Kelly holding a concert; The Dooms Day (Marc Beltran, Steve Britz and Brandon), Jon Dewey, Garett Joseph, Daniel Block and Alex Knox and Alex Knox and his Dancing Crew (which including Mikhail Schmalzried, Aaron Schmalzried, Tara Schmalzried, and other various stars) all interrupted Kelly as he made various attempts to perform. Jordan Keltz appeared attacking Kelly with a Keltz DDT as the segment ended.

In the fourth match, Marchus Batey face Kruze Banderob. In the end, Batey forced Banderob to submit to the Batey Cross for the win. After the match, Banderob attacked Batey with a big boot.

Then, Kadee Jones defend the Heavyweight Women's Championship against Avery Gold. Gold performed a spear on Jones. Flair applied the Goldie Shooter, only for Jones to counter into the Code of Kadee. Gold attempted a top rope moonsault but Jones was able to move, with both women down, the referee started to count both women down until Margaret Lamoreux caused a distract, Brooke Slevin came into the ring and hit Gold with the title, and attempted to hit Jones with it as well, but Jones reversed and shoved Slevin into Lamoreux. Both Gold and Jones got back to their feet and Jones performed her finisher and pinned Gold to retain the championship. After the match Slevin and Lamoreux got back into the ring and began attacking Gold, only for Jones to make the save and chase them away, Gold and Jones shook hands.

Then, OSU Cowgirls (Samantha Clakley and Logan Simunek) faced Brittany Hiatt and Victoria Lehr. During the contest, Brenah McAlmond-Quinn and Sarah Grobel came out and attacked Hiatt and Lehr for getting into their match earlier. In the end, Clakley and Simunek performed a double team manuver on Hiatt to win the match.

In the next match, Kevin Hunter defended his WIW Heavyweight Championship against Corbin Edwards in a No Disqualification match. As Edwards went for the Rolling Corbin, Hunter attacked Edwards's knee and back with a chair. Edwards delivered a low blow on Hunter, only for Hunter to return the favor. In the end, Nakamura and Styles attacked each other with a low blow simultaneously and writhing in pain, both men were able to get back to their feet and struck either other simultanesously with a chairs, both could not answer the referee's count of ten thus the match ended as a draw, which resulted in Hunter retaining the championship.

In the penultimate match, Brandon Martin and Mad Hanson took on Daniel Mazurek and Michael Nathe. In the end, Martin delivered a ‪stalling suplex and a Wings of Change on Mazurek for the win. After the match, Hanson performed a running powerslam on both Mazurek and Nathe.

In the main event, Kevin McAlmond, Matt Borske and Dustin Simpson (accompanied by Leah and Jessica Rothe) fought Eric Stevens, Jason Downing and Jacob George (accompanied by Victoria Lehr and Tia George) in a Non-sanctioned 6-Man Tag Team Chaos Theory steet fight. Before the match began, Stevens attacked McAlmond and put McAlmond through an announce table. After the start of the match, Stevens, Downing and George brought the numbers games to Borske and Simpson, Stevens locked in a Stevens Clutch on Simpson until McAlmond returned to the match assaulting Stevens, Downing and George tossing them all over the ring. McAlmond brought Stevens back into the ring, only to be attacked by Downing and George. McAlmond fought back against them, performing a Doomsday on George and a Killer Effect on Downing. As the match continued, McAlmond set up six steel chairs together and performed a Doomsday on Stevens onto the chairs for near fall only for Lehr and George to get involved, Leah and Rothe chased them to the back. In the end, to the surprise of Leah newest draftee to ShowDown, Jeremey Calvert attacked McAlmond with a steel chair. Before being chased away by James Burdick and Ryan Barnhart, Stevens performed the Killer Effect on McAlmond for a near fall. Borske returned to the match, hitting Stevens with a pipe, McAlmond performed a Killer Effect and pinned Stevens to win the match.
