TLC: Christmas Chaos (2016) is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (iPPV) event produced by WIW for the Show brand. It will take place on December 4, 2016, at the Keltz Arena in Dillon, Montana. This will be the seventh event under the TLC: Christmas Chaos chronology.

The card will include matches resulting from scripted storylines and have results predetermined by WIW on the ShowDown brand, one of WIW's two brand divisions. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television show ShowDown.

At No Remorse, Mark Semmler defeated Kevin Hunter, Charlie Lynch and Kooper McAlmond in a Fatal four way match to retain the WIW Heavyweight Championship. On the October 27 episode of ShowDown, Hunter fought Semmler to become the number one contender for the title, but Kooper McAlmond attacked Semmler causing Hunter to be disqualified. A rematch took place on the November 3 and Hunter successfully defeated Semmler, earning the number one contender's spot for the WIW Heavyweight Championship. Immediately after the match, Commissioner Dixie Finnegan announced that Hunter will face Semmler for the title in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Christmas Chaos match at Chrismas Chaos. At Soul Survivor, Semmler and Hunter, both part of Team ShowDown, got into a heated argument during their Soul Survivor elimination match against Team Rage. Semmler attacked Hunter, but was surprise by Matt Borske, who scored a pinfall. Hunter did not attempt to break the pin. Later in the match, Semmler returned to the ring to attack Hunter, causing a brawl to ensure between both men, the brawl hit the outside area where Hunter attempted to hit Semmler with a chair, but ended up hitting Kooper McAlmond instead, causing him to be eliminated by disqualification. On the December 1 episode of ShowDown, Hunter attacked Semmler's brother in the crowd, while also attacking Semmler himself.

At No Remorse, Aron Satre defeated the then-WIW United Nations Champion Jax Teller, Richard Veach and Finlay Shepard in a Fatal four way match to win the WIW United Nations Championship for the first time in his career. The following Thursday on ShowDown, Teller told Satre he would take his rematch when he wanted to take it, this would tempted General Manager Turf Finnegan to book an inter-promotional United Nations Championship match for the Soul Survivor pay-per-view. At Soul Survivor, Satre who was accompanied to the ring by Jaclyn Rubbo) defeated Rage's Chris Gomez to retain the WIW United Nations Championship. On the November 24 episode of ShowDown, Teller received his rematch at the title, which ended up in a double disqualification when both wrestlers manager's Rubbo on behalf of Satre and Tara on behalf of Teller. Later that night, a brawl ensued backstage between Satre and Teller before they were separated by security, General Manager Turf Finnegan scheduled Satre to defend his championship against Teller at Christmas Chaos in a Ladder match.
