Redemption (2012) is a efed professional wrestling pay-per-view that is produced by Attitude Era Wrestling. The show will be the first Redemption event. There are currently two matches announced for the pay-per-view.

Contents

The main feud leading into Redemption is for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship as the current World Heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana defending the title against the returning Cactus Jack, Cactus Jack attacked Colt Cabana on a episode of Monday Night Concussion. This set up Cactus Jack to be the No. 1 contender for Colt Cabana's World Heavyweight Championship.

Another feud going on for Redemption is for the AEW Television Championship as the current Television Champion Petey Williams defends the Television Champion against a former Television Champion Dolph Ziggler, At Superclash Williams defeated Chris Hero to retain the AEW Light Heavyweight Championship and to become the new AEW Television Championship, that same night Colt Cabana defeated Dolph Ziggler to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. On an episode of Concussion it was announced that Petey Williams would defend the Television Championship against Ziggler.

Another feud for the AEW Intercontinental Championship with the current AEW intercontinental Champion David Otunga defending the Intercontinental Championship against Scott Steiner who had started a fued with Otunga after Superclash where Otunga won a Gauntley Battle royal to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Another rivalry was Chris Jericho accompanied by Stephanie McMahon faces Cody Rhodes in a Singles match, Rhodes and McMahon seemed to be having a "Business relationship" and when Jericho found out this on July 16, 2012 Jericho challenged Rhodes and later that night Jericho attacked Rhodes and the match was made for Redemption.

Another rivalry for Redemption is between CM Punk and Austin Aries, Austin Aries has been dating one of the AEW Starlets Eve Torres on one night of Concussion, Eve and Punk talked about the losing strike of Eve and other stuff. Aries took it to another level when he attacked Punk during a Interview backstage. On the July 16, 2012 episode of Concussion it was announced that Austin Aries would face CM Punk at Redemption in a one-on-one match.
