Al Wright

From Hyfenwiki

Albert Herald Wright is a Freikorps officer with the rank of Major of the Freikorps Marines, Stahlhelm. He is commonly referred to simply as "Al." He is an NPC created by Another Random Geek, the creator of the Atticus Galfridus character.

Personnel File

Al is a career military man, firm and unwavering in his convictions. He is Atticus’s best friend and most trusted advisor, and believes that deep down, Atticus is a good man, something Atticus himself doubts. Al’s loyalty to his friends and allies is rivaled only by his hatred to his foes. He believes the enemies of man cannot run forever and he will not rest until every one of them is dead.

A tall, muscular African from Terra, Al has a long scar on his cheek from the Stahlhelm exercise, something he views as “a mistake” and “destroying the solidarity of the Officer Corps.” His head is shaven and he has no facial hair. He always wears a cynical, almost condescending half smile on his face, and has a mole on his right cheek.

Personal History

Al’s parents were in the Friekorps Marines, as were his grandparents, and great grandparents, so it came as little surprise when he joined the Marines as well. He has fought in most major campaigns in recent years, and has seen his share of death. He has watched his best friends die in his arms, and entire worlds burn. This has instilled in him a fierce protectiveness towards his troops, as well as an overwhelming desire to destroy any foe that dares to stand against the Friekorps. His worst nightmare is having to choose between the Friekorps, and his men. He prays he will never have to face it.

He has served with Atticus for the last 20 years and has a deep respect for him, counting him as a dear friend, and valued colleague, both men sharing a bizarre infatuation with 20th century Terran B-movies and Mexican food. Lately they have been working on “A Unified Theory of Strategic Force Application,” when not watching each other’s backs in combat, or attempting to impress women in seedy bars.
