The D&D RP is the continuing (and erratically updated) tale of two groups of mismatched misfits with above-average combat abilities, and of their struggles to survive long enough to find and latch onto a deep and (or so we are assured by the GM) wonderfully crafted plotline. It includes heroism, magic, tons and tons o' backstory, and NPCs who speak with way too many apostrophes in their words. It is DM/GM'ed by VOR, who posts in it extremely erratically at best. Also unfortunately, it so far contains neither dungeons nor dragons.

It's also sometimes called VOR&D, after the GM.

Heroes, Villains, and...uh...those Nuetral guys. Them too.

Player Characters:

First Party

Presently just outside the small town of Misty Knoll in Urthos, this small band of heroes is investigated the mysterious disappearances of several villagers. They are, at present, recovering their breath after a battle with several wolves and a worg they met while following footprints they believe to be related to the mystery.

Second Party

Currently, the second party is (was) aboard the mighty Seahammer... until they had to hop on to another ship to avoid being turned into Sahaguin and shark num-nums. And then they dropped a mast on aforementioned sahaguin, much to Captain Mayndur's dismay.

Currently, time has come to a halt for them while Big-cheese-GM VOR passes over GM-ship to ChroniclerC. And then we'll get back to the hacking and slashing... hopefully not also including becoming num-nums for one or more of those particularly angry-looking sharks circling around in the water...
