Mr. McMahon later announced that there would be two General Managers of the brand and when it was announced Sylvan Grenier had resigned with the company, it was almost certain that he would be one part of GM Staff. This was later confirmed in the opening moments of Rated's first show on 24th September 2008 when he made his way to the ring, deeming himself as the 'saviour' of DXX, which was a direct attack at [[Mayhem]] who had been experiencing poor ratings at the time with then-General Manager, [[Nabeel Nawaz]].
