DXX Rated

When rumours circulated that DXX was reopening it's development territory, there was close speculation about who would be the new authority figure of the brand. Mr. McMahon later announced that there would be two General Managers of the brand and when it was announced Sylvan Grenier had resigned with the company, it was almost certain that he would be one part of GM Staff. This was later confirmed in the opening moments of Rated's first show on 24th September 2008 when he made his way to the ring, deeming himself as the 'saviour' of DXX, which was a direct attack at Mayhem who had been experiencing poor ratings at the time with then-General Manager, Nabeel Nawaz. He also attacked his mystery partner, who was then announced as Shane Trent, the two feuded over the next few shows and when Johnny Relentless had won the DXX Rated Championship, Grenier deemed him unworthy and made a speech about how he should watch his back, Trent intervened pushing the fed further. Later that night Grenier interrupted in Relentless' match causing Trent to take action, this however distracted Relentless and cost him the match. Grenier allied himself with the victor, Tristagi.

A few weeks later, Trent had played a trick on Grenier causing him to sign his own release forms. Grenier kicked up a fuss and asked McMahon for help, whilst this happened, Trent gave Grenier a final oppertunity to win back his contract in a macth against Violetn Sid, Sid shoved the arrogant GM down a few pegs by distracting him for a quick count. Earlier that night Grenier also introduced Shelly Martinez, the two of them would form an alliance against Trent, with her acting as his Personal Assistant. Later on, McMahon reinstated Grenier as Co-General Manager and took action against Shane Trent, suspending him from the show. His replacement was soon announced as Bruce Campbell, however Campbell was soon driven out the show by Grenier, after that Grenier had toured Canada on a matter of buisness. Upon his return, Mike Wallace, the brother of Kenny Wallace was announced as his new co-worker. Grenier and Martinez had again tried to oust Wallace, but whilst Wallace seems repectful of Grenier his adament that he is going nowhere anytime soon. This seemed to be untrue as he and Wallace put their roles on the line in a match to decide the sole title of General Manager. Grenier had lost the match, but Dexter Hardy, previously from Massacre made an appearance and fired Wallace. Announcing himself as the new General Manager. Backstage Grenier had been in numerous disputes leading to his resignation.
