The Cracked

One of Darkainian's formost lietenants, the Cracked was the leader of the dopplegangers who served Darkainian as assassins and spies. Possessing the powerful Eye of Vecna and versed in the combat techniques of a monk, The Cracked was a deadly killer, made all the more deadly by the fact that he himself was a doppleganger.

Unfortunately, all dark Regimes have an end. The Cracked was eventually discovered and cornered by the last group of Mosslaide's wards, including the Conjuror Cromwell and Mosslaide's son Ian. Strangely, the powers of the Eye of Vecna proved to be useless on Ian, and the distraction proved fatal to The Cracked, as it allowed Cromwell to summon a mighty Vrock Demon to slay the assassin.

Many historians mark this as the day Aberdon started to fall, for after the battle, Cromwell, unseen by his companions, claimed the Cracked's Eye of Vecna for his own
