Black Bone

The Black Bone were Darkainian's chief soldiers in his campaign to overtake Aberdon. Appearing to be massive soldiers in black plate armour, the Black Bone were discovered to be Doom Guard- empty armour shells animated by magic. While they were powerful combatants, the magic that animated the Black Bone gave them only simple intelligence- they could not plot strategy on their own, and anyone who killed a Black Bone and wore their armour would be ignored by them. The Black Bone had several leaders: Palanthius, The Cracked, and an unnamed lieutenant who wore the same armour of the Black Bone, but possessed unnatural strength and power.
