Since she is a frequent visitor she is friendly with the store owne whom she calls Papa Ryu (Kang Nam Kil). At there she meets another young man the same age as her, Yoo Keum Jo (Jeong Ui Cheol) and the two immediately had interest in one another due to their similarities. They stayed together in the teahouse until 5:31AM in the morning, talking and getting to know each other. Eventually Soo Jin who felt a strange but strong bond towards Keum Jo confessed her problems of training and studying to him.

Suddenly Keum Jo announces that he must leave and when Soo Jin asks if it's because of school and if so, they can go out together on the way, but he denies the suggestion and says they will meet again soon and hopes the next time they meet her problems will be solved. He leaves without another word. Soo Jin - who was still too surprised to respond immediately chases after him, only to be returned with no hope. Disappointed she returns to school soon after and received a scolding call on the way from her parents for not returning home that night and threatens if she does not have a proper reason they will call upon her company and pull her out of idol training. Sure of her day won't be getting any worse, upon her return to school she finds out her teacher has dropped her out of the high grade class for her sliding grades.

Hopeless and tired of life, she skips school for the day and returns to the teahouse asking Papa Ryu where Keum Jo is. Papa Ryu who treats Soo Jin as if his own daughter argues that she must pick her life back on track and says he will only tell her where Keum Jo is once he finds out she successfully debuts in a group and her marks are among the top once again. She finally agrees and after a year she eventually picks her grades up, eventually two years later she graduated with the top nation score and becomes a secured member on a idol group. However she has already forgotten about Keum Jo while she was fulfilling her promise and never asked Papa Ryu once again where the strange boy is.
