Season One of Taylor Media's Shin Chan adaptation aired in late September of 2006 on Tuesday nights during Anime National's primetime block. The twenty-seven episodes aired were composed of vignettes that were similar to Toon Maker's Inc. None of the episodes used were prior to the original, and only one vignette was digitally animated.
The first season was a success, and prompted Crayon Films to create a complete second season.
