Elemental Planes
From Apocalypseblade
(Redirected from Gleaming Plane)
Among the numerous planes of the Blades of the Apocalypse universe, there are ten infinitely large Elemental Planes, the source of their respective elements within the universe. Unsafe for travel by all except God, the Warrior Angels and their accomplices, walking through a rift into an Elemental Plane will result in death for any others.
- Aphotic Plane: The Elemental Plane of Darkness. Used by Tresdos for teleportation while he possessed the powers of the Warrior Angel of Darkness, the Aphotic Plane is pure and complete darkness. Entering the Aphotic Plane without the aid of the Warrior Angel of Darkness (or, in the case of Messanger, a cloak designed for that very purpose) results in complete sensory shutdown. As the Aphotic Plane is devoid of air, any being that needs to breathe would quickly asphyxiate within the Aphotic Plane. While a being without respiratory functions could conceivably survive in the Aphotic Plane until they died of thirst or starvation, leaving the Aphotic Plane without assistance results in an instant and fatal sensory overload upon returning to the creature's plane of origin.
- Blazing Plane: The Elemental Plane of Fire. Used by Pyrodeus for teleportation and communication with God via meditative trance, the plane is entirely ablaze; even the 'air' burns. Without Pyrodeus' aid traveling through it, any being caught within the Blazing Plane would be instantly aflame on a molecular level. Though Visignis can travel through the Blazing Plane unshielded by his father (and even feel refreshed by the flames surrounding him), teleportation takes only a fraction of a second. Were Visignis to lose grip of his father within the Blazing Plane, in spite of his immunity to fire on normal planes, the Blazing Plane would cause him to burn to death within 10 seconds.
- Electric Plane: The Elemental Plane of Lightning. Used by Fulminerus for teleportation while he lived, and by Damian while in possession of Fulminerus' seal, the entire plane is abuzz with electric energy; even the 'air' is electrified. Entry into the Electric Plane unassisted will result in electrocution on a molecular level.
- Fluid Plane: The Elemental Plane of Water. Used by Hydrodurus for teleportation while he lived, the plane is entirely water. Entry into the Fluid Plane unassisted will result in instant and massive saturation with water on a molecular level, causing the body to dissolve into the Plane.
- Frozen Plane: The Elemental Plane of Ice. Used by Cryodivus for teleportation, the plane is made up purely of ice with a temperature of Abzolute Zero. Entry into the Frozen Plane unassisted will result in instant freezing on a molecular level.
- Gleaming Plane: The Elemental Plane of Gold. Used by Aurumagnus for teleportation while he lived, the plane is made of solid, pure gold. Entry into the Gleaming Plane unassisted will result in being infused with gold on a molecular level, then pulled apart and scattered throughout the Gleaming Plane.
- Living Plane: The Elemental Plane of Earth. Used by Gisichros for teleportation while he lived, the Living Plane is actually a single, sentient life form as well as an Elemental Plane. Entry into the Living Plane unassisted results in being instantly absorbed into the Living Plane on a molecular level.
- Radiant Plane: The Elemental Plane of Light. Used by Taelyrn for teleportation, the plane is comprised entirely of light energy. Entry into the Radiant Plane unassisted will result in an instant and fatal sensory overload.
- Unshakable Plane: The Elemental Plane of Stone. Used by Silexops for teleportation while he lived, the plane is made entirely of solid stone. Entry into the Unshakable Plane unassisted will result in instantly being crushed into a ball the approximate size of a grain of salt.
- Vaporous Plane: The Elemental Plane of Wind. Used by Ventusamplus for teleportation while he lived, the plane is made of swirling and fierce winds, moving at or above the speed of light. Entry into the Vaporous Plane will result in being instantly torn asunder on a molecular level by the winds, then blown throughout the plane.
