Aurumagnus

Aurumagnus is the Angel of Gold, and the leader of the Warrior Angels. One of the eight Warrior Angels, Aurumagnus has been dead for several millennia; however, his seal and weapon remain, allowing for a possible resurrection or reincarnation.

Approximately 8 millennia ago, the Archangels were charged with creating new Guardians of the Gate, able to battle at full strength regardless of distance from the gates of Heaven. Four of the five archangels (the exception being Azrael) created their own Warrior Angels in accordance with their elemental inclination. Gabriel created Hydrodurus, Michael created Pyrodeus, Raphael created Gisichros, and Uriel created Ventusamplus. This would even the balance of power from a strong advantage for Hell to a level playing field. However, God desired the balance to be tipped in Heaven's favor. He created four additional Warrior Angels of his own volition: Cryodivus, Fulminerus, Silexops, and Aurumagnus. Between the Warrior Angels' two encounters with the Sons of Plunder, Aurumagnus was killed by a fatal transfer of divine energy during a failed attempt at Magres Xerfal.

[edit] Weapons, Powers and Abilities
Aurumagnus has limited abilities of gold manipulation. He is able to create small amounts of pure gold and manipulate any metallic alloy with even trace amounts of gold at will. He can also turn part or all of his body into gold; when his body is entirely golden, Aurumagnus has endurance of pain and temperature well beyond angelic-level and nearly cosmic-level strength.
He relies primarily on tactics and strategy, which allow him to defeat far stronger enemies. Aurumagnus is able to use his intelligence and cleverness to disorient enemies, pacify them, or even cause them to mistakenly attack each other.
Aurumagnus has a pair of golden knives, balanced for throwing. He wears sheathes at his hips which the knives return to at his will. He is theoretically able to create swords, guns, or other weapons out of these knives thanks to his abilities of gold manipulation; however, there have been no examples to date of his doing so.
