| Have you guys ever thought of creating a TimeSplitters: Future Perfect game Mistakes page, because I can think of one massive mistake in the game and it isn't a glitch.
The mistake is this: One the first level the bridge gets destroyed and then the TimeSplitter Mothership is destroyed, but when you go back there in the second from last level to protect your past self from the Time assains the TimeSplitter Mothership gets destroyed first and then the bridge.

| Mall isn't that big is it, from memory, it was rather small with a little street on the side and an area on the second floor. Small if you ask me.

| Fine, we'll disregard weapons then. As for the allies thing, I think we've got a good system already. Just changing it to bots would be confusing because you wouldn't be able to differentiate between allies and enemies.

| Noticed the weapons thing, although we'd have to spend time checking where each 5/6 weapons spawn and match them up with the places the weapons spawn on the map. Not much a point anyway, the strategy is what people follow and that should mention all weapons needed anyway.
An allies section would help for Arcade League, that's the only think I would consider changing. Or we could just chane "enemies" to "bots" on the template.

I was looking through the Arcade League pages and I realized I didn't add a category for weapons in the Infobox for either Arcade League or Challenge. Anyway, I could go back and edit the Infoboxes to include this category, but that would mean we'd have to go back and edit all existing Infoboxes to include the new category. I could also add a spot for Allies and anything else I forgot if I were to do that. Anyway, what do you all think?

| Oh yes, they do lack correct info. I think someone went around the pages and input a number from 1 - 5. In TS2 Cortez is a 5 star. So someone went and put 5 star on the other Cortez attires. He's 4 star in Future Perfect though. And I've had to change nearly every AI on Future Perfect so far if it was entered already.

| I don't know, perhaps we could focus our efforts on something? Like completing the Weapons section? There's only a few TS1 weapons that still need pages. Or we could focus on improving the character pages, since many of those lack info (or correct info).

| Reviews are entirely opinion, and they really have no place on a Wiki. I'm not saying your review's bad at all, but it'd be more suited to your personal web site than to the Wiki. It'd be akin to adding a review of a famous book in Encyclopedia Brittanica - it doesn't really add anything, because personal opinions are all debatable. I realize this Wiki doesn't adhere too much to Wikipedia's NPOV (Neutral Point of View) policy, and that's fine (personally, it's actually better the way it is lol), but reviews are just too much opinion and not enough unbiased fact to merit having here. Sorry.

| I'm going to be rather harsh and say I don't think it's a good idea. The reason behind this new responce is because I just sat and thought what a review is: an opinion of how good a game is. And the problem is the keyword: opinion. It's okay to state what the community thinks of something (ie. "Many fans prefer TS2's challenge mode over TSFP's") but not the writer's personal opinion, because a personal opinion is not as factual as the statistic "Many fans prefer".
Please do not take this critism the wrong way. It's just that if you take away the opinion parts of the review, you're left with an article that basically is the same as this page, and then what's the point in having reviews in the first place?

| I like the fact that you reviewed the different aspects.
However
- Goldeneye, never played it, and it is not a TimeSplitters game.
- Never compare a game to its sequels. Why? Most reviews are reviewed soon after the game. When TS4 is released and you write one, you wont say "it didn't match up to the standard of TS5", it doesn't exist.
- The Story was great, didn't match up to TS2 or FP however, but than I couldn't say that.
- Music and Sound, full marks for me. TimeSplitters games have the best soundtracks, only a few Final Fantasy games come close, and most of the time it's only a few tracks. Orchestrated music doesn't belong in TimeSplitters, a Frantic FPS.
- Mentioning of TS2 in Overall
- You say the mapmaker is phenominal and simple-- but not great?
- Never compare to sequels.
Apart from that, it's good.

| TimeSplitters is a completely different series to Goldeneye. Despite coming after it, TimeSplitters is only related to it in that the 4 founding members of FRD worked on Goldeneye.

| I was kinda hoping the rest of you would help clean that one up and start the other ones. If you think you can make the review better, try editting it yourself, I'm sure you're far better at formal writing than I am... :(
But I have to agree with you, sorry for mentioning Goldeneye so many times, but wasn't TimeSplitters suppose to be another follow-up to Goldeneye? I tried to have some balance between Goldeneye, TimeSplitters itself and it's sequels.

| To be honest the first few lines are a bit chatty, and throughout the review you keep mentioning Goldeneye (I've really got to play that game for more than 10 minutes). Please do remember that since this is a wiki, your review may be changed here and there. Apart from that, they're alright.

| I would give it a go, but expect it to be changed here and there. Wiki's are more of fact than opinion, and if I were to review TS2 for example I'd compare it to the other TS games rather than other FPS's. But give it a shot!

| Drifting, I assume Struan's MapMaker is for Windows only? I have a Mac, so I can't use Windows programs. And my Mac is too old to use Virtual PC very well.
But I have to agree with you on one thing, a dedicated MapMaker Wiki would be a good idea, since the MapMaker in TS is very robust and versatile. :)

| Koopa: So you're saying that Struan's Mapmaker isn't good enough for your means? As far as the online MapMaking community goes, Struan's program is still pretty much the accepted standard for showing maps to other people online. It's probably the easiest way to share maps, since the program can convert maps into web-ready HTML (Example here).
However, I'm not sure how well the Wiki would be able to display an HTML map. One option is to create your map in Struan's MapMaker, take a screenshot of it and post the pic up onto the Wiki along with map info. At the moment, this is really the only way I can think of, short of sending maps into the TimeSplitters Map Connection or starting your own Mapmaker site independent of the Wiki.
ILHI: MapMaker Wiki is a good idea. The TS Wiki doesn't go very in depth into Mapmaker (at least not yet), so a Wiki dedicated specifically to it is a great idea.

| Drifting, that's not what I meant, what I meant was a mapmaking tool of some sort, either offline or online. Kinda like those mapmaking tools that were popular for a time, but became obsolete. Words are not enough to express or to emulate a map, we need a VISUAL aid to show people our maps.

| Well, I checked on the Editthis main page about the new anti-spam verification system. Supposedly, it will ask for verification now only when someone is adding a new link (which is why I've kept my username unlinked for this post to test it). I've suggested to the admin that it only ask for verification when a user is posting an external link. We'll see how that works out.
EDIT: It still comes up. How annoying.

| Well, spam problems aside, I think we should do something about custom Mapmaker levels, I have tons of TS:FP levels and TS2 levels that I want to share with you guys, but we have no means of doing so. Sure there have been several times where this idea flopped, but this is the TSWiki, it needs some user-made maps too. I personally think this is a serious issue we haven't dealt with yet.
Can you admins do something about this?

| Hmm, maybe. But how are we going to be able to tell who's a bot and who's not based solely on an e-mail address. Granted, this system would allow us to block the most obvious offenders, but we might block out some legit users in the process. It's a bit of a conundrum, really. I really don't think we have enough of a problem with spambots yet to warrant this system. At the moment, we seem to be able to reverse their vandalism fairly quickly.

| Well ILHI and I have just banned two spambots. These things are trouble as there's no option to enable bot-stoppers in registration (like "type these characters"). Registration is disabled at the moment. Perhaps we should implement a system where new registrants email an email address and are then registered by an Admin; this wouldn't be a lot of work since not many people join frequently.
But having to email to join does deter new members...
