Formed in order to avenge the dishonor of Eegriega by her stupid ex-boyfriend. Spent a brief period fighting with Pinky's supervillain team over recruiting members, before the two teamed up in the face of the larger threat of boyfrienddickery. Pinky's (as of yet unnamed) team is now considered part of the JLI, although they may turn on the heroes at the drop of a hat.
Named by HotAndCold after a brief stint (i.e., about ten minutes) as the Bay Area Defenders.
Allied with the Cult of Blue Beetle, mostly due to all four members of said cult being early members. Eegy's boyfriend has officially been named the Anti-Beetle, giving the team a much-needed religious element.
All members are warned that their ideas may well be stolen by Doctor Sneeze.

Mission 1: A creepy guy on another forum was stalking Sota The JLI moved swiftly and PM and publically insulted him. A near distater happened when about idiot found Threep's picture and posted it, but Threep used his manwhore powers, and showed that he was superior to both the idiots. VICTORY TO THE JLI!
