Plat, I don't want to come off as contrary but you shouldn't have placated that trash. If that page was really the source of his ire, he would have just gotten rid of it since it's a red friggin' link that nobody would have to argued against getting rid of. Hell, I would have done it if I knew such a thing existed because it's part of the whole "unpalatable protagonist" problem that plagues this website. But he's made it clear that he's not doing out of moral outrage but because he has a cold and he's bored. He's made that plenty clear. Okay, in an effort to satisfy everybody I templated each section page for All Adult Stories. Then I added the templates to the main index for the best of both worlds. Now edits in a section of any page will show up under the main index and the individual page. The main page still has parser issues though. I hope it's alright like this. Alright, thanks. I wanted to keep the structure the same as much as possible. I like the idea of a single page index too. I considered making the split pages alongside the main index, but the extra bookkeeping of maintaining two indexes didn't seem like a better way. Hi there, I'm kinda new to the wiki, but I have been working on cleaning up the adult and PG-13 stories. Both pages currently have too many parser calls and the 50kb adult page won't let me edit with my phone browser. I broke up the pages as suggested on the discussion page. DirtyMe suggested I check with you before making big edits to the indexes though. I have links to the changes I made here and here respectively. lol, that is why I mentioned that path specifically. While the rest is rather questionable in the first place, it could be argued on why it should be allowed. However, the single path seemed to pass beyond what Rob wanted. Actually, I think it was me that ironically made it available. When I came across one page, I got the content not welcome message, so I edited it so the page displayed properly. Then, the pages were suddenly able to be read. I agree about not liking to censor stuff. Honestly, I don't understand people that like that kind of thing, but I would rather they just write and fantasize than actually do stuff in real life. Like an outlet. Seems better to me anyways, since I can just avoid reading it if I want to. While I was reading through Life of a 13 year old for the review, I came across this path: Stalk an elementary school
This path has red links mostly, and the only written options lead the main character have sex with a 10 year old girl, ending with the character piercing her uterus and cumming inside her chest, next to her heart. I am unsure if this goes beyond Rob's rules, so wanted to let you know in case it should potentially be removed. I am not here to judge it, just to make sure you were aware in case this should be removed or modified to comply with the rules. I will let you judge if it is acceptable. (Personally, I find the whole story offensive, and questionable (since it is mostly supposed to be a 13 year old doing all these things), but that is a different issue...) --Dirty Me 05:00, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for your kind words and sage advice. A few thoughts you might want to consider:
- I finally built up the courage to make a contribution, and added a couple pages to an existing story. That's a big step. My first feedback is from a sysop who, rather than offering any sort of encouragement or advice, suggests I should be writing for a comic book. Not exactly the kind of behavior one would hope for in a sysop.
- I personally have no problem with feedback, but would hope it might come in a less douche-filled format. Particularly from a grizzled veteran such as yourself. That said, I'm not simply going to bow down and worship at the altar of Platypus. You have the power to ban...you've made it very clear. You've mentioned at every opportunity that you have special sysop powers. If your ego is so sensitive that you can't handle someone standing up to you, then ban away. A bully will be a bully...even in egg-laying mammalian clothing.
- I have no interest in getting into a pissing match. As previously stated, I simply was taken aback by your initial foray into doucheville. I've since come to understand that you were simply being you. I've dealt with cyber-bullies before, and will do so again. If you feel the need to flex your virtual muscles and remind everyone who is in charge, then feel free. Some guys need that sort of thing to get off. It takes more than a few snarky comments to scare me away. Can we hug it out now?

I didn't understand half of that...so...I am not completely sure if you are making fun of me or not xD Anyways, I have asked Teejay to look over my raider tale story I have completed for some proof reading. FMS/Tales from a raider/FS-Bitch1. I am not sure if you would be willing to or not. I assume it is easy enough to understand, even without knowing about the game. Raiders are the thieves, murderers, raiding groups. Deathclaw is just scary, like it sounds. And the random food is super low quality food that you would not even think of as worth stealing. The setting is the world after lots of atom bombs fell, so a giant, irradiated wasteland with mutated things running around trying to kill everything. Oh, and a Yao guai is a mutated bear. I keep seeing Story Reviews on the front page, but...nothing is ever done.
I am slowly going to try to build a review system. I will change it as I go, probably with some key words in a template on the main rating page, giving the story link, review link, etc, but for now, I am just starting the thing. I am hoping after it is developed enough, we can use it to replace the Story Reviews page. Or, would it be better for me to blank The Review, and just modify Story Reviews? I was thinking of just making a page per story, with my review and let others also add their reviews if they wish, but I want to know your thoughts. I will play with templates later to try to get right. I will of course include the same info as in the Story Reviews, but in a nice table format. Title, link, review page link, page count, probably some key terms (Especially when I get to adult). But, again, I am a bit worried about how many pages I will create. I am also going to have a cutoff, pagecount. Like, under 20 pages, unless your story is 100% complete, I won't bother. Is there anyway to remove the captcha thing that pops up after every few pages. I was trying to be helpful and move a bunch of stuff over to the PIT OF ABANDONED STORIES (Great name btw) and after copying and pasting the names of the stories from 'All Adult Stories' to the 'Pit of Abandoned stories' page and I pressed save on the pit editing thing, fine, then I pressed save on the other page and suddenly I was presented with a captcha, filled in the captcha and then lost all the edits I had just made to the page. I think I've rectified the mistake but the annoyance, although minor, is not ideal. Hmm, hidden stories gives me ideas. Wonder what someone would say if I wrote an entire CYoS story, but when they saw the text they saw nothing. It isn't until they drag the mouse that they realize the font is white, the story is there and complete, but no one can see it xD
Maybe have a second story purely in pop-up text (using the <p title="Some words will pop up when you hover your house over the words of the paragraph">Something</p>

About rampage: You know, the way it is set up, why doesn't someone create subcategories for the currently possessed character? Like [[Category: Rampage:Black Cat]]? I don't want to sound picky but is there any way to get my pages that I wrote like that? I understand that there was a slight spelling error on one and I messed up use of the status bar, but I went on there this morning to correct the and the majority had been taken down. That was over an hours writing that I'm a little miffed about having to redo for a misunderstanding since it was my first time adding to one of these pages. It's very intimidating getting a message a few seconds after you step out and try to share something on here simply because you slightly misunderstood the code. I'm new, and I am sorry about it, but I can't be perfect on my first post. Hey Platypus, it's User:Vgybhu. You gave me some helpful formatting advice for my Monster Girl Adventure story, but its in such an early state its not even playable. I guess I just wanted to say 'message received' and ask for any advice on how to keep my story progressing but allow me to write in 20 mins bursts. I'll keep the update log and option descriptions labeled for now with % complete, although I was hoping to write my story in chunks with one encounter for each character/start point (So it'll take awhile before there is actually a path to play into).
I formatted a couple links on the main page to try to help them stand out. I did in a single edit, so it can be easily reverted if you do not like. Maybe someone can take my idea and make it look better, I just made them look like buttons xD Anyways, if you do not like, please feel free to revert, and I won't feel bad. If anyone does like, well, perhaps someone else can modify the template to make it look better. Sorry if this is vandalism but I wanted you too see what I go through to understand why I am so "immature" . I changed the page because it was a joke only meant for me to see to cope with the stress and pain in my life that's why I deleted it. You really think someone like me has it easy I struggle with bipolar, severe borderline personality disorder,asd,ocd,schizophrenia,pstd,anxiety, depression, multiple personality disorder, grew up in another country and had to switch everything, got kicked out of the house when I was 18 cause I am bisexual, Not to mention I been abused as a child and I am studying penetration testing and I cannot screw up because I am trying to get a job my life is not easy and now I am thinking of committing suicide thanks to you because you crushed my hobby of writing I know I suck but I can at least pretend I am worth something. Hey, is it possible to have rate limits removed? I believe that is what they are referred to as. I just want to know if it's somehow possible to be verified or something such and remove the time limits. Sorry to bother you about this and I apologize in advance if I sound too critical but I'm actually kinda curious about the "Feel her up for real since she's already slapped you" choice in "Darkness". I mean, why would someone choose to deliberately cop a feel on their sister in the middle of a mysterious blackout after they had found a note imploring them to stay? Also, why was there a katana or steel thing in the room where the protagonist was and why did you include the "I'm Your Brother" choice if the protagonist was a girl? You know what? I've finally decided about what to do that "feeling up" choice in "Darkness". Fuck it. FUCK. IT. Not only is the choice out of place, there is nothing that would suggest that the protagonist, Jenny, has any feelings or thoughts that would suggest she would do such a thing. And yes, I've read your note about how how choices don't need to seem logical but this is, simply put, not a good choice. Gepetto chose that choice because it was a fairy tale and illogical choices are a staple in that sort of thing. Thing is, I'm not against illogical choices. I'm not against unreasonable choices. Hell, I'm not even against stupid choices. I'm against unrealistic choices. I'm against a choice that does nothing to advance the story or even make an attempt to do so. So fuck that choice. I thought I'd ask an experienced user (I am very new) is it worth trying to resurrect/clean up a cluttered and/or messy story started by someone else. I'm having fun editing the Pokesex story but I'm more than a little put off by the lack of focus some of the things people added before I got there (Some joker added a shemale option at the beginning that had nothing to it and although there are some worthwhile ideas there are way too many categories and sub divisions) So the story is looking a little neglected but I quite like the set up. Hi, you deleted my page because you said it had already been created and deleted, when it was originally created earlier today I accidentally started making it on my home page because I was confused about how to go about it, but I was warned about having an unsorted story so I deleted all of it and put it in the mature section like I was supposed to originally. I'm very new to this site and was just confused. The original link doesn't exist anymore- at least I don't think it does. Is there a way to make the page titles shorter, the ones at the top of the webpage not the address of the page (Apart from making the address shorter) I want to keep things neat and make it easy for people to find the beginning and stuff but the length for some of the pages is getting silly. For the record, what is the page maximum for the pit? The main page says 10 pages but iirc I've seen stories in the pit with more than 10 pages. Again I know it takes a while for something to drop into the pit, and I know I can get it back out again, but I thought I'd ask.

So, I'm trying to include an image in something, but the only way to do this is to link to an image outside of the wiki. Which would be fine, if it weren't for the fact that apparently said images are also under the rule of having to wait 20 minutes. Which again would be fine, if it didn't count hitting preview?
So if I want to see how it looks on the page I need to wait 20 minutes before I can see the changes I've made? And then, from past experience, if I try to submit the page I have to fill out a captcha and wait another 20 minutes before I can submit the captcha, by which point my session (every time I tried this at least) has been terminated?
Is there something I'm missing here? Are other people able to include links and images just fine and somehow I'm just completely screwing this up? Like I'm not trying to be ungrateful and I know you probably don't have control over any of this I'm just confused and I'm starting to get frustrated with the thing I'm trying to work on. I am an ESL student and trying to get better by writing short stories, and I suppose the short quips for Rampage and Smutty are ideal for this. I just wana know how to make my own story
1. There is a sidebar to the left
2. The second divider from the top remarks "search"
3. Enter through the input box the name of the story you'd like to create
4.Once on this page anew: note the tabs at the top of the page.
5.Impress the button that is prescribed the word create.
6.On formatting: There are buttons above the page to change the text and to include links to the next part of the story; including links to the next part of the story is vital for any interactive story. Create a link by typing in the name of the action the user may perform I.e [[Action]]. Replace "action" with what you want the character to be able to do.
7.If anything went wrong: Platypus the site moderator is always able to revert the changes
8.At the bottom of each page in your story: write down the story's category like this: [[Category:Story name]] At "Story name" put the name of your story.
9. If all goes according to plan, your page should be formatted like so:
Solemn ipsut Armet
Do you:
*[[Go to the left]] *[[Go to the right]] [[Category:Story]]
If your page looks like that: it should function rather blithe.

Hi, I'm fairly new to this site and all I can say is wow. This is probably my favorite place on the internet. However, being a wiki means it can be edited by users and that's even more amazing. Again, just wow. Now, taking into consideration I'm a writer myself and love being part of group efforts. I would like to know if the contributions I've made will be unsatisfactory. I would like to know what the thoughts are on the pages I've created Here, Here, And Here. I have no problem if the moderator or another user edits the works. Social Justice Retard Vandalism
I've been trying to fix the horrendous vandalism that little faggot did. You have already reverted the redirects, but he blanked the pages beforehand, so they're all still empty. Not that it can prevent me from returning them to their prior state. However, a certain story is posing an issue. Time Stop possesses several outside links to images and the 20 minute limit prevents me from expeditiously reverting the vandalism.
