Calendar

From Zok

The Zokthran year consists of ten months of thirty days each. That means that there are three hundred days in the year. The magic of Asriphil fluctuates slowly over the course of the year, increasing gradually until it spikes at certain days (usually the anniversaries of important theological or historical events)and then falls again.

  • 1st: New Year’s Day, First day of spring. Begins the Festival of Tyani in most good-aligned lands. Celebrated by large amounts of drinking, praying, donation to the temples of good deities (especially Tyani) and general merriment, lasting until the 12th.

In fact, the royal guard occasionally arrests people as a joke, and the king once declared war on Pallon for the day. Pranks start about three weeks before Prank Day, and the setup for a good one sometimes takes over a month.
  • 30th: Last day of spring.
