Moonwatcher

Little is known about the Moonwatcher because little is known about Tsochi. No one who has gone to Tsochi has ever returned, and most divination spells fail to tell anything about the planet other than what's obvious: it's frigid, it's scoured by howling winds, and it's riddled with poisonous gasses and sharp rocks. Its surface is roamed by mindless wriggling things.
But those with sufficient magic to look have seen the empty temples of the Moonwatcher upon the heights of the Tsochari mountains, massive edifices of dull green-gray rock carved into cylinders by some unknown force. They have windows, though no one has ever succesfully found anything looking out of them. It would be a mystery for astrologers alone, but for the fact that several identical temples have been found by explorers in the deep wastes of the Northlands. They managed to determine that the structure was a temple devoted to a god whose sole purpose seems to be observation of the moon. Clerics of several deities of knowledge have prayed to their gods for knowledge about the Moonwatcher, but they gleaned no knowledge other than the fact that it was an evil being and an enemy of Asriphil.
