Team Flash is a group-for-hire that consists of Dryler, Lakeep, and Zzub. They used to work for Bowser, but that gig didn't last very long and they became a group-for-hire. They seem to work for villains more often, but sometimes work for heroes... whoever will pay them.

History
Team Flash began when Lakeep crashed into Zzub at Thwomp Volcano. They had both just had a run-in with an elemental dragon, Lakeep electricity and Zzub fire, and they both got a toenail out of it. Lakeep remembered hearing about a legend that when the toenails of three elemental dragons were united, they'd lead to vast riches, so they went off to get the riches. They found themselves at Vanilla Dome, where they met Dryler; hearing of the "vast riches" Dryler wanted in on that, and they found against a water elemental dragon in the dome.
Once all three toenails were theirs, they went to Rainbow Road, where they fought a rainbow snake. During the fight, however, they were sent flying off the road and crashed back on Star World; specifically, the Koopa Kingdom. The three of them decided to form Team Flash and go work for Bowser. After only two journies, both involving The Yoshi Bodyguards, Bowser fired them and they went off to form a group-for-hire at Rogueport.
Although sometimes they're hired by villains to do some dirty work or are even hired by heroes for help, they usually are just bystanders who find out about something that could make them rich. Although Dryler is greedy, and Zzub is easily influenced, for the most part they simply have trouble paying rent for their office and so try to strike it rich and whatnot. This usually ends in them getting hurt, sending them flying off, at which they always state "Looks like Team Flash is shooting off again!"
Motto
Motto 1: Koopa Kingdom
When Team Flash worked for Bowser, they had this motto, a reference to Team Rocket's motto:
Dryler: Prepare for Trouble!
Lakeep: And make it…
Zzub: Triple!
Dryler: To attack the world with devastation!
Lakeep: To help the Koopa Kingdom would bring much elation!
Zzub: To defeat all with our best plans!
Dryler: And to extend the Koopa Kingdom across all lands!
Dryler!
Lakeep: Lakeep!
Zzub: Zzub!
Lakeep: Team Flash works for Bowser day and night!
Zzub: Give up now or you will be forced to fight!
All 3: That’s… right!
Motto 2: Group-For-Hire
When Bowser fired them, they got a new motto, still referencing Team Rocket's:
Dryler: To help whoever gives us pay!
Lakeep: Good, bad, or neutral's what we say!
Zzub: To do our best with whomever needs it!
Dryler: And as long as the pay's good, we'll never quit!
Dryler: Dryler!
Lakeep: Lakeep!
Zzub: Zzub!
Lakeep: Team Flash works if you pay us well!
Zzub: We're not greedy, just need to pay off bills!
All 3: Team Flash, that's swell!
Motto 3: Song
In X-Chaos, Team Flash sang a song in Chapter 6, the last chapter they appeared in. This was a reference to a song Team Rocket sang in one or two episodes of the anime:

Office
Team Flash's Office is situated in the building Bobbery used to live in. They sometimes have trouble paying rent and stuff, which forces them to go to work and whatnot.
Transportation
Team Flash has two main methods of transportation. Their main method is a hot-air balloon in the shape of an orange cloud, just like Lakeep's. It was once modified into a rocket, though, but that was destroyed. They also have a Blooper Sub they use when they need to be more stealthy in the water. It's ran by cycling power, though.
Team Attacks
Home Run Bash
Lakeep holds Zzub and throws him to Dryler, who smacks him with a large bone at the foe.
This attack can also be done with just Dryler and Lakeep, only a spiny is used instead; Dryler and Zzub, though it's more like a golf club; or Lakeep and Zzub, where Lakeep just throws Zzub.
Final Smash: Team Flash Bash
Team Flash group together, and all 3 attack—Dryler fires multiple Bones from his bow, Lakeep uses Spiny Storm, and Zzub spins around like a supercharged Green Shell.
Trivia
- If not obvious, Team Flash was originally based off of Team Rocket from the Pokemon Anime. After being fired by Bowser, they became sort of a mix between Team Rocket and Team Chaotix.
- There were two earlier versions of Team Flash, one of which had characters from other series (one was a Chameleo Arm and another was a crocodile), and the second of which had a yellow sunglasses-wearing goomba and a Lakitu very similar to Lakeep.
