The Snifin Combat Armorsuit or more commonly known as Clone Armor are a series of military wear originally created be worn by Yoshi Clone Troopers but over time, multiple variations were developed to be worn by the SWDF and the Cyber Bell Vanguard. Due to it's huge popularity and extremely realiable, many factions tried to copy the armorsuit's technology such as COUE. Sneezier, being the creator of this hardware, claim it was originally a exoskeleton suit system for workers.

Characteristics

Phase-I Armorsuit

Influenced by Mack and designed by Sneezier himself, the basic armor of the first design became composed of twenty form-fitting plates of lightweight plastoid-alloy composite, sealed to a black bodysuit and weighed just under 70 pounds. Because the armor would be used by an army of physically identical yoshi clones, only one size was needed. It loosely resembled Galactic Federation Armorsuits in the 19th century and the Lekshi Genome Trooper Armorsuit series. The austere sensibilities of 26th Popstar society and Yoth's cultural design resulted in the blindingly pristine white state of each set of armor, although command units originally had stripes of different colors, depending on their rank (gold meaning commander, red meaning captain, blue meaning lieutenant, and green meaning sergeant).

The armor was heavy, uncomfortable, and not very well liked by clone troopers; it was also not very resilient against concentrated fire; hence it being often referred to by most people as a "body bucket" or "body coffin". Its inconvenience was due to the Sneezier's knowledge, or lack thereof, of Yoshi anatomy. It did, however, have coolant systems to prevent overheating and to vent out excessive body heat and sweat, and also included enhanced breathing filters inside the helmet. The armor could take some modular attachments, like a backpack. The armorsuit also resisted vacuum environments, allowing the trooper to continue to fight outside of spacecraft for a time (though recovery was needed).

Some armorsuits, depending on what planet the trooper was stationed, were customized to fit the planet's conditions. For example, water planets such as had water resistant armor with an aerodynamic design, and advanced breathing equipment, for underwater. Some trooper's armor had symbols to designate the squad that they were in.

As months passed, it was mainly replaced by Phase II armor. The the phase-I quickly became obsolete in the Dark Ages and it was sold to various factions such as militas.

Phase-II Armorsuit

Improved from the Phase-I armor, the Phase-II Armorsuit incorporated all of its predecessor's systems in addition to polarized lenses, padding, sensors, and stronger, lighter armor plates made of out steel. It could also support more modular attachments, making it superior to its predecessor. It was far more comfortable for clones to wear than its predecessor, since Sneezier become more familiar with yoshi anatomy but unfortunatly for Mario and Luigi clone due to their human anatomy. Unlike the Phase I armor, color patterns was used to denote rank.

It was introduced roughly around after the Dark Ages, and slowly replaced Phase I armor in the months following. Phase II armor was the basis of the Phase-III and its cousin, the Neo-Flak Armor later worn by the soldiers of the SWDF. Another variant of the Phase II armor was the early version of the Cyber Knight Armor subseries.

The new armor incorporated a more advanced air filtration and oxygen supply system, advanced visor lenses, and an annunciator to make speech more comprehensible. In addition, the boots were magnetized and incorporated a micro grav-field alternator to ensure stability. Camouflage was sometimes used on Phase II armor. It became obsolete when spiker bullets can penetrate it like paper.

Phase-III Armorsuit

The current armor that have more variations than the previous versions since this series are used by the SWDF and the Cyber Bell Vanguard. This one is made of muiltiple layers of light Denzium alloy plating instead of steel, able to withstand or negate critical hits. Unlike the previous version, it changed drastically from sleek and smooth to robust. Although it weighs 500 Ibs., the suit's gravity devices reduced it to a fraction of the weight so almost anyone can wear it.

The armorsuit contains a gel-filled layer underneath the bodyglove. The gel layer regulates temperature and can reactively change its density. The inner skinsuit is made of a moisture-absorbing synthetic material linked to an environment control computer and the wearer's neural interface.

Its extremely famous for the Mario and Luigi Clone wearing them dispite wearing their version of the Phase-II and its realiabity during the deadly Metal Wars, reducing clone casualities to 70%. Overall, the suit much like a infantry-sized portable tank.

Neo-Flak Armorsuit

The standard SWDF armorsuit created to replace the obsolete Flak Armor which is very unpopular due to being regarded as weak as wet cardboard as shown in a firearms test when the Metal Army's spiker bullets tear through the old versions like paper. Some features were missing such as gel layer to reduce costs. It's sturdy enough to withstand small-arms fire and soldier's opinion on is well received.

Librarian Armorsuit

ARC Armorsuit

The ARC trooper armorsuit was a specialized variant of all variants worn by Advanced Recon Commandos in all Phases from one to three. The armor was lighter and offered more protection than standard clone trooper armor and could be fitted with specialized attachments, such as a jetpack, missle launchers, wrist flamethrowers, rangefinder, taser gauntlet, and a grapple beam. Due to being extremely reliable to the wearers, it became popular

Trivia

  • The Armorsuit is originally a copy of the clone trooper armor but it diverged from the source as Sneezier added in more features from various sci-fi shows, movies, and video games, mostly from Halo.
