One of counselors that some would call "perfect." Kevin attended WMACS Summer Camp from 1994 to 2001, and then served as a counselor in 2003 and 2005. In 2003 he led Group I along with James Lien. He headed the Marshmallow Hunt activity (one solution: transliteration of Chinese foods) with June Liang that year and assisted in Chorus (also referred to as Chrous that year due to an unfortunate spelling error) taught by Butterfly Chang. He also generated the blueprints for what would replace the Marshmallow Hunt activity, The Amazing Race, with June Liang one late night during camp. He wrote the orientation skit for the counselors, called Finding Stevo, that year as well.
In 2005 he was the only counselor to lead a group of campers of the opposite sex, G4. He is remembered for controlling their meal cards for an incredibly long time and for his back brace, which the girls referred to as a corset. That year he headed The Amazing Race with Tim Yang and assisted in Wushu, taught by Justine Kwan. He also DJ'ed the Friday night dance with Tim Yang and Chris Liang.
Kevin is also credited with designing the camp t-shirts for 2003, 2004 and 2005.
As a camper, he never won an award for best skit. He is not bitter.
Some will remember the Game-O-Rama incident:
April Kwan later beat Kevin, but please observe how April is squatting and not horse-stancing like the rules stated.
