Twincest is best. Right. They go to the same high school Jess 'n David 'n Nadia go to. 16Ish. Mommy works as a paper pusher for Sydney's Department of Intelligence, but they prefer to say she's a top secret spy. It sounds cooler that way. Sligh's a photojournalist who traveled worldwide and took his sons with him.
They uh. Found out their power because when they were in Africa at 14 they wandered off from their dad into the Savannah and were nearly lion food. So they clung together in OMFGFEAR and hey. Giant robot. (It's not that giant. Like. 12, 15 feet.) Dad found out about a lion nearly eating his retarded sons (and the giant robot nearly smashing the lion) and sent them back to Sydney to live with Not-Quite-Spy-Mommy and they bitched about high school.

April is the dumb twin. Not the evil one. Not the mean one. Just the one who doesn't really think before he acts and ends up trying to pet the lion about to eat his hand. Or read expiration dates on his food.
