Montague lives in Sydney. He swears he's not that bad of a guy and that rumor about eating babies was only meant as a joke.

Montague was born in New Zealand, the youngest of three brothers (the other two being named Mercutio and Tybalt) to a pair of "star-crossed" lovers. Jeanette and Richard were from two very different families, Jeanette's parents were made of money while Richard grew up very poor. When they announced their engagement Jeanette's parents severed ties (and bank accounts) with her and did not attend the wedding ceremony, calling her and Richard a "Romeo and Juliet that was sure to fail". The family started off rough, Jeanette selling most of her expensive possessions to make ends meet. Tybalt and Mercutio (twins) were born and the family started to fall into place. Richard was promoted in his work place and Jeanette got a job as a dance teacher. By the time Montague was born the family was well-adjusted to their way of living.
Monty grew up having a completely normal life until his 16th birthday when his parents took him to a fortune teller (just as they had done for his older brothers) to have his palm read. The teller did not have good news for him, instead she wove him a story where he would help to either destroy humanity or save it, she told him to travel to Sydney to realize his destiny. He ignored her, thinking it was nothing but a joke fortune. Later that year his brother Mercutio would be killed in a drunk-driving accident, causing him to rethink a lot of things. His parents dedicated all their time to mourning Mercutio, as did Tybalt (who returned from college to comfort his parents) completely ignoring Montague who had been the closest to Mercutio. Montague was crushed by the death of his brother and spent most of his time in his room, so much time in fact, that he felt invisible to his family. They would occasionally peek in his room to check up on him but after a while they just... Stopped.
It wasn't until much later would he realize what was happening. Months after having disappeared into his room, Montague finally got himself together enough to walk downstairs only to see a crowd of people in his kitchen; they were all wearing black, some were speaking to his family members. When he got into the living room there was a large picture of him sitting on a table, like he'd died or something. He didn't understand what was going on or what was happening so he left the house without a word. He went back to the fortune teller because if anyone knew what was going on, that crazy bitch would.
He visited the fortune teller and took a seat in the waiting room, he spent the next two hours waiting to be called but every other person in the room was called before him. After the last person left and he was still sitting there uncalled he stormed into the teller's room demanding to know why he had never been called. The fortune teller freaked out and asked who was there and what they wanted with her which left Montague very confused. She threatened to call the authorities and Montague tried to explain himself, she'd given him a fortune earlier that year and he wanted to know if it had been true and what was happening, he was listed as a missing person and he just wanted an explanation. The fortune teller asked him to step into the light and he said that he was, which she had figured. She told him to step out into the waiting room and look in the mirror there.
When he looked into the miiror he saw nothing, was it a joke? The teller stood next to him and told him that he was special, and that everything she had told him before was true. He was given a gift and it was his right to use it as he saw fit. But first he needed to move to Sydney, there were people there that would better explain it, she gave him an envelope with what she said would be enough money to get a plane ticket to Sydney and find a place to live. She said she'd been waiting for the day he discovered his powers and his place in the fate of the world. Monty returned to his house and took as many as his belongings as possible, he called and made arrangements to fly to Sydney that night and found a hotel to stay in for the night (saying he would check in from his hotel room since he was agorophobic, thankfully the clerk believed him).
Shortly after moving he found an apartment using the same excuse, filling out the lease and making all arrangements by telephone or mail. He also found a job as an editor for a smaller newspaper in Sydney, it was the first stay-at-home job he'd found that he was actually qualified to do. After two years of editing he was offered a position at a larger newspaper and a desk but he had to decline, his powers were still not fully controllable so he gave them the same bullshit excuse he's been using. They pressed him to accept the job but he said he really couldn't so they compromised and gave him a similar position which didn't require his presence at the offices but the offer for the other job would still stand. Monty took this into consideration and accepted the job, pushing harder to gain full control of his powers. It would be another two years before he could completely control his invisibility and go outside without inciting panic or not being seen at all.
He took the editor position and got his very own desk at the newspaper, keeping his fate a well-guarded secret for another year before being invited to an online community made for people like him. He watched the community for months, never saying a word and watched someone claim to be the Kamui of Sydney. He figured this impostor would make it easy enough for him to keep tabs on Sydney and those fighting in the war, using his information from the newspaper to make connections with which buildings were barriers and which were not. He followed Sokaris around for a month before finally slipping into his apartment unnoticed and slitting his throat, deciding it was time to get rid of the fake and make his presence known.
He was, after all, the real Kamui.

Monty has a sick sense of humor and makes most of his jokes with a straight face. He doesn't smile often but when he does it's a very genuine smile.

Invisibility. He can also carry his power over to things he touches, if he chooses.
