Early Life
Born to a working-class auto manufacturing family; Elizabeth was blessed with cunning wits, high intelligence, and a concern for others that far exceeded her younger brother, Seth. She worked as a seamstress through high school and was accepted to Vassar College in New York. She concentrated her studies in business, political science and Women's Studies. After graduation, she returned to Detroit, where her father gifted her with $10,000 to start up an operation and build on her talents. From 1977 to 1997, she became matriarch of Wellbourne Enterprises; a multi-national company specializing in auto parts, household goods, and most recently biotechnology and e-commerce. Over the 20 years, Wellbourne Enterprises has been responsible for "The Child 'Fro"; "Etch-a-Fret"; Viapropapin for female sexual disfunction; that coffeebook table on famous hallways; 4-sided sofa cusions; Halibut-flavored popsicles; frozen bananas; and, of course "Wrestle-Me-Tinky-Winky." In 1997 she was tapped to replace the outgoing representative of the 12th district and was ushered into the Congressional halls in 1998. Known for her keen economic sense and a growing interest in international relations; Elizabeth stands tall representing her district at 6 foot 1.
Senate Race
In 2004, she ran against incumbent Lord Danworth of Lansing for Senate. She won easily after the media found a clip of Danworth masturbating onto an etch-a-sketch. Sick stuff. But, yes she was ushered into office and quickly got to work. In the first 2 years, she has introduced 8 major initiatives and is busily at work with innovative solutions to our nation's problems.
Heartland Race
In 2013 she was elevated to the position of Heartland Governor, due to Merrlin's appointment as Vice-President.
She was reelected in 2014.
No Re-Election
Wellbourne has announced that she won't run for re-election, unless she's required.
Representatives Carter Reynolds and Bryant Carter; and Former Lt. Governor candidate Jiles Scott have declared their interest in running for Heartland Governor
