Two Governors, both Republicans - Tim Kent and Brian Murphy - are running in the Republican presidential primary and are unlikely run for re-election if they win the Republican nomination. Otherwise, all incumbents are expected to run for re-election, except for Kyle Baccei, Republican incumbent who is retiring after one term of service.
