Norman Osborn, still in his Goblin form, reveals to Peter that Harry has been put through therapy to make him forget the realities of his life, namely the circumstances of his mother’s death, and the true nature of his father. Norman indicates that the therapy was done in the Colorado Mountains by a Dr. Warren. Norman also indicates that Harry has had hypnotic suggestions implanted into him.

• Norman uses another syringe to return himself to human form. He tells Peter that he will torture Peter’s aunt and girlfriend if Peter does not cooperate with Norman’s wishes. He then leads Peter back out to the main living area of the apartment where Harry is waiting.

Harry plays a videotape for Peter that is scheduled to air on Dateline, which is a feature on the life of Norman Osborn. It details his rise to power and the creation of Oz. The film indicates through interviews with Norman, that the Oscorp accident was the result of industrial espionage by Justin Hammer. Norman indicates that because of Hammer, he had to take his son into hiding, but now that Hammer is dead, he is ready to return to the public world. During the video, Peter becomes upset and leaves.

• Peter arrives home where May is waiting for him. Peter apologizes to her about lying on Saturday night. May forgives Peter and un-grounds him.

• Peter sits in his basement, completely worried about what is going to happen. He receives a call from MJ, wanting to know about his trip to Harry’s place. Peter asks MJ if she can come over because he needs to talk to her. They are interrupted by a knocking on Peter’s basement door, he goes to check out the noise only to find Gwen Stacy outside. Peter tells MJ that he will call her back and then hangs up the phone.

• Gwen tells Peter that her mom ran off to Chicago with some guy and her dad is at work. Peter tells his aunt about Gwen being at the house, and says he fears that Gwen is thinking of hurting herself. May cooks eggs for Gwen and together with Peter; keep Gwen company until her father, Captain John Stacy, shows up.

• Peter tells MJ the next day about Gwen showing up to his house. He tells her that May and Captain Stacy spent some time talking the previous night. MJ points out that Peter never called her back and asks why Gwen came to his house. Peter begins to tell MJ about his experience at the Osborns when he is interrupted by Gwen, who jumps on his back and calls him “her own personal super-hero”. Gwen tells MJ to “hold on to this one”. A PA announcement goes off calling Peter to a classroom; he leaves MJ telling her that still needs to tell her something.

• Peter goes to classroom 222 where he is met by Dr. Bradley, the counselor from Ultimate Spider-Man 11. She asks him about Norman Osborn and if he revealed his new powers to Peter. Peter begins to freak out and then Dr. Bradley asks Peter if Norman revealed that he is aware that Peter is Spider-Man. Peter looks around frantically and asks if there is someone else in the room. Dr. Bradley asks aloud “Do you want to take it from here, sir?”. In response, the air begins to shimmer and Peter whispers, “Get outta town…”.

Notes:
