A sharp, cynical person. She is brave and logical, both good traits in a tight spot. Slow to trust and quick to lose that trust, due to past betrayals and her sceptic nature; but she will do anything for a friend. She has an instinctual distrust of authority figures, and adults in general. Thinks that grown-ups mess up the world and leave the mess for their kids to clean up, which is pretty true.

At the age of 15, she and a group of childhood friends found out that their parents were actually evil (not that Gert didn't already know that). They were members of the Pride, a group of 6 couples whose goal was to destroy humanity and recreate Eden, reserving six spots in that Paradise for their children. Gert's parents were time-travelers from the 87th century, who had Old Lace genetically engineered for her as a birthright. Eventually, she and her friends succeeded in overthrowing their evil parents, and their current occupation is fighting crime that has flowed into the vacuum their parents' death left.
She was transported to this world after being stabbed by an enemy. Thinking she was dying, she tried to transfer her psychic link with Old Lace to her boyfriend Chase, although she was not sure it would work. (Although she does not know it, her old friends believe her dead, a victim of the stab wound and the fire that raged around her when she got taken.)

Allen Walker - She's going to kill him, if he doesn't do it for her first. But seriously: she likes him, even if he is a little mopey. He's probably her closest friend there, aside from Old Lace.
Sora - Roommate. He's a really nice person. This is probably not a good survival trait, but he seems to have made it so far. Could stand to use his brain a little more; it's irresponsible to act without thinking, as he seems wont to do. Also, he knows Donald and Goofy. Weird.
Roxas - She doesn't know he's Sora's Nobody. (Probably would think it was stupid if she did.) He's a bit sulky, but overall seems like a decent person.
Kakuzu - She dislikes him intensely, and wants nothing to do with him. And after the whole incident with Rider... He sewed her fucking mouth shut, then lied to Gert about it. The girl's kinda worried, because this guy seems seriously mentally unbalanced.
Greed - Helped Allen. Attacked Allen. Doesn't trust him. What's new?
