Don't forget to put the American Tournament on the afternoon of the 28th May in your diary.
- All adult playing members are very welcome.
- Only £3 for the afternoon -- includes tea, balls.
- Should you wish to enter, just come. But make sure you arrive by 2.15pm, and that you can stay till 5.30pm, if necessary.
- Some sort of prize for the winner.
- To be generously run by Graeme Boddy.
- Five games per set, sudden death deuces, pairs are split up after each set; men and women move in opposite directions.
- A great opportunity for existing members to meet new ones, and vice versa.

Rule of the Day
APPOINTMENT AND RETIREMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE
34.
- (A) A Member of the committee shall not be required to vacate his office and no person shall be ineligible for appointment or re-appointment as a Member of the committee by reason of his attaining the age of 70 or any other age.
- (B) At the first annual general meeting of the club all the Members of the committee shall retire from office, and at every subsequent annual general meeting.
