The committee is reviewing the weekly programme from last year, attached, in the light of the low use of the courts on some evenings. In addition the introduction of floodlighting on hard courts 7 to 9 mean that a new court booking system is required to manage the use of those courts. This online facility will also allow the grass courts to be booked for competitive matches outside of social mix-in sessions.
The intention is that all bookings should be done online to guarantee the use of the court. If you have not booked online, you may not be entitled to use the court. This may necessitate an online facility being operated at the club, in both the pavilion and clubhouse, so that bookings may be checked and made onsite.
This will be very much a new approach for the club. We need to develop processes which work for everyone as far as possible.
Finally, the new booking system requires a log-in and password for each user. These details will be sent to each member when you renew your membership for the coming season.
