The committee is pleased to announce that after eight months of writing reports, giving presentations and supervising inspections, the LTA as awarded Thames Ditton LTC the prestigous ''Clubmark'' award. This award recognises the advances our club has made towards safe and efficient working practices, equal opportunities, child protection standards, club action planning, business planning and the provision of a premier framework and facilities for coaching.

The benefits of this award are not just the recognition of the contributions from the committee and other members in taking the club forward.  We also obtain free publicity on the national ''Clubmark'' website, permission to use the ''Clubmark'' logo on our literature, and help with staff development. The award also places us in an advantageous position, should we wish to apply for funding. We have been presented with a ''Clubmark'' plaque which will be displayed in the clubhouse.
