The Stories of Joe Evans and Clay Lejoey is an Independent Work by ATKtrains. It was first seen on the Sodor Island Forums on December 2, 2005. It proved to be a very popular work, and is currently the 3rd most read Independant Work, behind Carly and the Strasburg Railroad, and Steam Engines of the Forest.

The series follows two bachelors - Joe Evans and Clay Lejoey. However, this series is different than many others; it is made using The Sims PC program and uses pictures to present the stories. The series starts out with the two, struggling to survive in a run-down house, with Joe working minimum wage. However, Clay's mother soon helps out the two men, by sending them on a vacation, and totally remodeling their house.
