Continue towards the shoreline

Continuing on down the long beach towards the ocean, you notice a tattered shape lying in the break, gentle waves spreading and sucking the sand from its perimeter. Intrigued, you approach, noticing the reddish hue that seems to spread in the waves as they retreat. Poking at the mass with a piece of driftwood, you discover the remains of a cow, with a chain shackle around the neck. Bite marks in the animal suggest teeth larger than any you've ever seen.
On impulse, you reach down and place a hand on the forehead of the animal. As soon as you make contact, a throb pulses through your antennae, and you glimpse the image of a beautiful woman on the balcony of the lighthouse. Looking back, you see nothing.
