- Wanstead Flats pm: 7 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 imm Redstart, 3 Whinchat, 8 Blackcap, 1 Hobby over (S Fisher)
- Rainham Marshes RSPB: Marsh Harrier, 2 Hobbies, 3 Whinchat, 20+ Swallows (heading south in small groups) and 3 Sand Martin (Steven Robinson).
- Crossness: 2 Garganey on the lagoon, m Dartford Warbler still in weeds 30m east of the lagoon viewing screen. Whinchat, Stonechat, 2 Sedge Warblers, Kingfisher, 7 Black-Tailed Godwits, (Kev Jarvis & I.Miller)
- Alexandra Park: no sign of Alpine Swift so far this a.m. (Birdguides); very brief Nightingale flushed from base of sapling in scrub 20 to 25 feet along middle path just before Dogwood clumps, disappearing into deep cover just south of racetrack; also calling Jackdaw, Swallow south, Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Willow Warblers, 3 Chiffchaffs, 5 Whitethroats, 3 Blackcaps (David Callahan); Common Tern & Kingfisher WG Res (Bob Watts); Male Redstart in cricket scrub late morning (Gareth Richards per Bob Watts & Dominic Mitchell); 3 Common Terns (2 juvs) WG Res, 4 Swallows south, 20+ House Martins (DC & DM).

- Alexandra Park: Alpine Swift found by Gareth Richards & still over Filter Beds (SE corner of Park) at 4.30pm (thanks from all of APOG - J. Murray); also 2 Yellow Wagtail, 7 Mipits, Willow Warbler with 5+ Chiffchaffs in hedge adjacent to W G Res (Bob Watts); also Hobby, Common Tern, House Martins (James Palmer).Flew high east 1830 (Bob Watts per Gareth Richards), Swifts reported by others.
- King George V Res: probable Citrine Wagtail along causeway along North Basin side a.m. (Birdguides); 1st-winter Yellow Wagtail along causeway, also 3 adult Yellow Wagtails, 2 alba wagtails, 30+ Pied Wagtails, 1 Redstart, 1 Whinchat & 3 Northern Wheatear (J. Murray).

- Wanstead: juv Hobby low over my garden at 11:55am then circled over Bush Wood and lost to view east (J Lethbridge).
- Oakwood Park, N14: 1 male Great Spotted Woodpecker; 1 Grey Wagtail, flew over calling; 2+ Song Thrush; 1 Mistle Thrush; 2 (ad,1st-winter) Spotted Flycatcher, together, possibly another two 1st-winters in different areas; 2 fem/imm Blackcap, together; 1 Chiffchaff; 1 Willow Warbler; 1 Nuthatch (Robert Callf).

- Beddington SF: 5 Common Buzzard, Hobby, Greenshank, 16 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Tree Pipit, 22 Meadow Pipit through, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 3 Northern Wheatear, Raven low over, mobbed by Carrion Crows, possibly went east (Dip or Glory).

- Alexandra Park: drake Gadwall, Hobby, four Common Terns S, three Swallows N, seven Meadow Pipit SW from 7-9.25am, Tree Pipit just north of cricket scrub 7.15am, one Yellow Wagtail W at 7.29am and three briefly on cricket pitches at 9.25am, single Whinchat, Lesser Whitethroat and Spotted Flycatcher in cricket scrub, and two Jackdaws flew in from NE and landed west of the cricket pitches at c 8.50am (Bob Watts, Gareth Richards, Dominic Mitchell).
