Walthamstow Marsh: 1 Whinchat, 5 Stonechat (ad m, 2 imm m, 2 f) Cow Field. 4 Meadow Pipits N. 1 imm m Stonechat North Marsh. 7 Chiffchaff (1 singing) 1 Blackcap. 'commic' Tern no. 5 Res. Adult Lesser Black-back x Herring Gull, (or something a whole lot rarer!)on the Filter Beds at 17:00. 250+ Cormorants flying in from N to join the already large numbers on No. 5 Res in the space of a few minutes. Nearly forgot the best bird HOUSE SPARROW calling from the SW corner of the South Marsh, can't remember the last one here!(Paul Whiteman)

Friern Barnet: c.100 Starlings flocking and landing in Princess Park Manor at 5pm (Tom Clarke).
Ingrebourne Valley: Spotted Crake still present (Birdguides).
Tower Bridge: Firecrest (Birdguides).
Walthamstow Marshes: Wheatear this a.m. (J-P Elmes).
London Wetland Centre WWT: Short-eared Owl flew over heading southeast at 11:10 (Birdguides).
Tower Hamlets Cemetery: Firecrest in large tit flock close to gardens and iron railings towards Cantrell Road, also Willow Warbler (Bob Watts). Still present 3pm in holly bushes 3/4 down side of gardens (Phil Hissey). On entry to site from Southern Grove, walk past Soanes centre keeping to right-hand path and follow railings and wall for 200-300 yards. First record at site since February 1998.

Wormwood Scrubs: Richard's Pipit until 15.15pm at least, in long grass at western end. Seen on the ground where the initial thoughts of it being a Tawny occurred due to its pallid appearance. Watched in flight where call and jizz reminicent of Richard's. Subsequently elusive and only seen in flight.
