[edit] Background

SuperBrawl is WIW's flagship pay-per-view (PPV) event, having first been held in 1999, under the name Wrestlepalooza. It is the longest-running professional wrestling event in history and is held annually between mid-March to mid-April. Along with World War, SummerSlam, Soul Survivor, and Money in the Bank, it is one of the company's five biggest events of the year, referred to as the "Big Five". SuperBrawl has been described as the Super Bowl of World Incorporated Wrestling. SuperBrawl XIV will feature wrestlers from the Rage and ShowDown brand divisions.

[edit] Other SuperBrawl week events

As part of the SuperBrawl festivities during the week of the event, WIW will hold a number of events throughout the week. The night before SuperBrawal XIV on April 5, WIW will kick off SuperBrawl Weekend with a special "SuperBrawl Edition" of Friday Night ShowDown, which when WIW holds pay-per-views on Saturdays, ShowDown moves from it's original Saturday to Friday. Immediately after ShowDown, the 2024 WIW Hall of Fame induction ceremony will commence. The day of SuperBrawl Saturday, WIW's NGW brand will hold its annual SuperBrawal Week event, Rise & Extricate. SuperBrawl Week will conclude with the Wednesday Night Rage after SuperBrawl on April 10. All of these events will be held live at the nearby Dahlberg Arena.

[edit] Storylines

The event will include matches that result from scripted storylines. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, while storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Saturday Night ShowDown, however due to the pay-per-view taking place on Saturday, WIW moves ShowDown to Friday.
