[edit] Background

Chaos Theory is a recurring pay-per-view event that was established by World Incorporated Wrestling in 1999. The event continued annually until 2009, which was the final event until 2016. It was brought back that year following the reintroduction of the brand extension, where WIW again split its roster between the Raw and SmackDown brands, represented by the shows of the same name. The event then continued annually until 2018 as it was canceled and replaced by Stomping Teritory the following year, but was brought back for 2020. The 2020 event will be the fifteenth event in the Chaos Theory chronology and feature wrestlers from the Rage and ShowDown brands.

[edit] Storylines

The show will include matches that result from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, while storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Saturday Night ShowDown.
