List of Women's World Champions (WIW)
From Iwe
The Women's World Championship is a women's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion World Incorporated Wrestling on the ShowDown brand. Unveiled on the August 25, 2016, episode of ShowDown, it was created to be the counterpart title to the then-WIW Women's Championship, which became exclusive to Rage as a result of the 2016 WIW draft and renamed to Rage's World Women's Championship.
The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. The inaugural champion was Allison Richards, who won the title at Aftershock on September 11, 2016.
