The October 17 Edition of Main Event is a professional wrestling television show of the IWE, it will be taped at the (ARENA) in Memphis, Tennessee on October 16, 2012. This is the debut show of the Main Event.

The main event matches was scheduled on the October 10 episode of IWE Main Event when Jose Serrano challenged The Miz to a match on the October 17 episode of with the IWE Intercontinental Championship on the line. On the October 15 episode of Raw during MizTV Serrano and Miz argued and ended up brawling, Later that night in a "Review" match for the Main Event title match, Serrano defeated Miz in the Non-title match with Trouble in Paradise giving Serrano the "Upper hand" leading into the title match at IWE Main Event.
