IWE Main Event or simply Main Event, is a professional wrestling television program produced by IWE that originally aired on Ion Television] in the United States, then the IWE Network, and is now broadcast on Hulu Plus. It debuted on October 3, 2012 and ended its domestic broadcasting on April 2, 2014. After the final domestic TV broadcast the show moved to an internet broadcast format. The show features lower to mid card SmackDown superstars. The show is currently on a hiatus from the IWE Network due to a conflict with British broadcaster Sky Sports's first-run syndication rights. However, the show is still being taped before SmackDown tapings to fulfill international commitments and is also now airing on Hulu Plus while on hiatus from the IWE Network. Episodes are uploaded to the IWE Network 18 days after airing.

[edit] Production/presentation
The show is produced on Tuesday evenings, right before the SmackDown Live taping. It originally aired live, with a slight broadcast delay. It uses the same HD set as all other WWE programming with all ring ropes being blue to represent the SmackDown brand, except for the month of October, when the middle rope is pink, to promote IWE and Susan G. Komen for the Cure's breast cancer awareness campaign.
IWE commentator Tom Phillips and David Otunga are the broadcast team, and Greg Hamilton is the ring announcer. From October 3, 2012 to January 22, 2014, "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)" by Shinedown served as the official theme for Main Event. Since January 29, 2014, "On My Own" by CFO$ now serves as the theme song. Following the 2016 IWE Draft it was announced that Main Event would feature superstars exclusive to the SmackDown brand, making it the official "B" Show of the brand similar to IWE Velocity.
