Background
In September 2022, the American professional wrestling promotion WIW held an event in The Bronx called Clash in the Bronx. Its title was in reference to the Yankee Stadium.
During the April 3, 2024, episode of Wednesday Night Rage, it was announced that a second Clash in the Bronx would take place on June 15, 2024. Its location was confirmed the next day as the Draddy Gymnasium in The Bronx, New York. This marks WIW's first PPV. It will air on PPV worldwide and feature wrestlers from the Rage and ShowDown brands. It was also announced that the preceding night's episode of Friday Night ShowDown would be held at the same venue.
Storylines
The event will comprise matches that result from scripted storylines. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, while storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wedesday Night Rage and Friday Night ShowDown, ShowDown moves to Friday's when WIW holds it's PPVs on Saturdays.
